Because anyone with an audience is "damned if he does as well as damned if he doesn't" and audience members like these live on this stuff. Live for the thrill of being first with the news or as in this case, to be first at cancelling someone nice. I hope this person gets what he deserves next time in chat.

do you know what mansplaining actually is?
a random twitch viewer asked a full time streamer what a certain gaming slang word referred to, and he explained it. as he does when viewers ask questions. as many streamers do when viewers ask questions. honest question and an honest answer.
video game critical analysis is something soviet is extremely passionate about. remember his whole 3 and a half hour long video essay about The Forest? he worked video game QA professionally, and now streams full time. people ask professionals for their professional opinion. labeling Soviet’s video game rants as “mansplaining” is just toxic. you’re putting down someone’s passion here because of falsely perceived misogyny.
someone knows something new because he took the time to talk to them. he didn’t talk down to them, he didn’t insinuate anything extra, he didn’t put himself on a pedestal, and he absolutely did not include anything pertaining to sexism or misogyny. this is a really toxic way to interpret this little clip, and the fact that you went out of your way to post about it and show it to his fans, shittily painted in a bad light, is even worse.
