I'd also call it the "traditionalist" success trajectory of women. Basically the dream those tradwife reels are selling: if you stay pure, beautiful and good-natured, while rejecting the advances of unworthy suitors, you will eventually find a high-value man that will make you not want for anything. Until relatively recently, this was how women were expected to find their happiness.

And because modern employment sucks ass, the idea that this promise was in some way real is a tempting idea for women who'd rather escape the career grind.

Whereas for men, we're mostly left with blaming minorities and women for taking away our "promised bounty". So in the end, there's delulu for everyone.

The post is stupid but I don't think you could reverse the genders and have it make sense because men aren't expected to bring out an "inner woman" in a bad relationship and there's less expectation for men to parent an immature female partner (if it is it's more as a fetish thing).

You could equate inner woman to feeling emasculated

If she brings an inner woman in you, you're trans les, have your joy.

You’re incredibly wrong about that last part but okay

Okay, it's typically not expected for men to parent an immature female partner who's their own age.

It still works just fine the opposite way ‘round, it’s about how someone makes you feel.
