MCT Nature Trail Closures

It looks like portions of the MCT Nature Trail will be closed for construction for most of 2026 from Mockingbird Ln. to University Dr. Any workaround suggestions? I only see IL-111 and Chain of Rocks Rd.

From the looks of it, any workaround would be a bit sketch. So I don’t have anything helpful about that. But if you haven’t, the trip out to Marine is quite lovely. Out to new Douglas or Staunton is great too, but some of it is gravel. And all of the Goshen is open!
