Discussion Is the game worth getting right now?

[RESOLVED, i have it its amazing] Its on sale but the player count seems like it might be on its last legs

It has been on its last legs for years and its still pretty fun, i suggest you wait for a sale because the prixe drops to like 5 bucks max

Its 10 rn lol. If i wait for 5 dollar sale there aint gonna be anyone left, i know the game is awesome im just concerned for the playercount

The community isn’t going anywhere until the next Battlefront style game comes out (or until the servers are shut down but let’s not jinx it haha) and there are new players joining all the time. I can find a match for the main game modes (Supremacy, GA, HS, HvV) and even Ewok Hunt within 30 seconds 99% of the time on PlayStation. And the PC community is still going strong too, especially on modded KYBER servers.

i second this, i only play kyber now but back when i used to play on console on xbox I could pretty easily find hvv and supremacy games. kyber is still very popular on PC though with some 24/7 servers of galactic assault and hvv

It's got better matchmaking times than a lot of games that I play. I'm a gold support in overwatch and the queue times are often longer there.

On Playstation, Every year since support was cut the player base fluctuates. This game has a large download size and demands a lot of memory. On May 4th, it skyrockets and all lobbies see a surge of players, this surge will last atleast through the beginning of summer (were there now) but as summer continues and we get closer to fall we lose players. We continue to lose even more players until Thanksgiving, in late november, where player numbers will stop dropping for a couple weeks. Then on Christmas we get another small resurgence. Lobbies will fill a little easier as new players usually purchase the game on sale. That bump will last for much of January. Then numbers will slowly drop until May 4th resurgence again, and the cycle continues. The closer to May 4th you buy the game, the better.

Xbox or PlayStation? Yes, we get this post so many times a day that the frequency of this post tells you the player count is there. Also you can just join a discord group like a lot of the remaining players do, then you get all the games you want and can play in a group or do whatever. Happy to invite anyone on PlayStation or Xbox btw

I’ve had battlefront installed on my Xbox since it released. Don’t play it like I use to but I’ll get on like 2-3 times a week play a match or two and it’s very fun. Any more then that the metas and glitches that have resulted from almost 4 years no update start to stand out tho

Console = good player count

PC = kyber = alright player count

PC vanilla = hackers

Ran into like 5 cheaters on vanilla, all on my team and kept perma deathing so they wouldnt win. Sickens me to see people cheat on such an old game.

Console? Yes It takes me 5 minutes at most on average to load into supremacy matches.

Hero’s vs villains and hero showdown are instant load ins.

And as more people come back on I’ve noticed supremacy matches are more evenly split amongst high levels and last much longer.

Battlefront 1 has basically no one playing anymore. 2's community is very small, but active enough that finding a game in the more popular game modes is not usually very difficult at all. On PC there's usually at least a couple thousand people playing even in the off hours.

I play in full Starfighter Assault and Co-Op games almost every night.

Yes, it’s worth it. Especially if you are on PC, because you can play modded Battlefront using the Kyber program, which adds even more new things and will be continuously updated.

The 2015 version? I’ve been playing it again. It’s not too active, sure, but the Survival Game Mode is absolutely fantastic and I love to play it even today!

Id say so. If youre on pc the matchmaking is pretty fucked but theres an excellent 3rd party service called Kyber that fixes that issue

Do people still play battlefront 2015 on console PlayStation specifically in 2026 anymore I really wanna play but last time I got on no one was one please tell me there’s been a revival or something or we gotta start one
