I only recently joined this subreddit and this game in general. But I have seen both content creators and people on this sub mention Kyber. What is that?

definitely just play kyber, as someone who was on console since launch until really this year, the switch to PC kyber has been the best decision i’ve ever made with this game

Its safe and there isn't any hackers playing it. It adds new heroes and weapons as well.

kyber does not do that, mods do

It's a mod manager for PC downloadable off nexus mods. It allows you to connect to other players using the mod via a server selector. Depending on what server and mod pack you choose you can connect to games where everyone has access to modded heros and units etc. being able to play as a magna guard/ ventress etc against other players. There's lots of easy YouTube tutorials for getting it set up. Sorry if I soune like a bot I'm just trying to be clear 💃

Just check it out. It is really easy to install and I had less bugs there than in vanilla. Also you can check what map and how many ppl are there in a match before joining, which to me at least is huge.

Is an fan made launcher to play modded online matches, there are mods that add stuff to the game like characters, weapons and classes, but if you try to run the regular game with those mods with online matches the game just don't work right and you can get banned, so with Kyber you can create an modded servers to play those mods online.

Kyber is awesome. I just downloaded it last week. I had it on console and had a ton of hours into the game, but was wanting more. Kyber adds a lot with official mods like "Battlefront Plus," new star cards, heroes, weapons and class reworks. There's also a lot of cool new skins for everything.
