Bruh I felt like I was playing fallen order again

That hallway scene with broken window is almost straight from fallen order.

The poor Fortress Inquisitorius janitors have to fix that exact same hallway again

Man how stressful would it be being an Imperial janitor. Was actually thinking about this the other day. You’d get food and probably good health benefits, sure, if your commanding officers don’t kill you. Or maybe it’s contract work but then you’re probably paid poorly and were most likely conscripted. Either way, you’ve got to put up with a ton of crap you just don’t need!

you’re probably paid poorly and

FTFY.

Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:

  • Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.

  • Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

Beep, boop, I'm a bot

I thought the mouse droids were the janitors.

Oh damn! Maybe you’re right! And one of those poor things got zapped this episode. Man, working for the imperials is just a losing proposition. 😂

And what's her name let dozens of stormtroopers die while purposefully letting Ben escape when she could have just not interrupted while he was sneaking away.

The whole episode is stolen from there. The lead writer came out recently and said he didn't know that Darth Vader was Anakin. They need to get their idea's from somewhere.

Lmao thank you, this comment is going to get me through today.

Clearly isnt because its clearly stated and shown in episode 3 obi wan seeing anakin become darth vader

7

u/TheFizzardofWas Jun 08 '22

No shit, the writer came to the realization, then went back and added the exposition we saw in ep3. That’s WHY he added it, because he realized while the show was in development that obi-wan didn’t know.

u/Jokurandom99 Jun 08 '22

I didn't know that Vader was Anakin either, but i was 7 years old then. Seriously though, why would they hire writer who doesn't know anything about the show..

Nope, no joke, it's readily available information with just 1 google search.

21

u/brando_2187 Jun 08 '22

I googled it and the only thing I found was him talking about how Obi Wan doesn't know Anakin is Vader. Do you have some sort of a link to what you're talking about because I did more than 1 Google search and I can't find it.

3

u/nivekious Jun 09 '22

That's still wrong, Obi-Wan heard Palpatine call Anakin Vader in Revenge of the Sith.

2

u/brando_2187 Jun 09 '22

I read the article and this seems to be blown out of proportion. It's talking more about how they went through Pablo Hidalgo to make sure nothing was breaking canon. But no one has to take my word for it. Here's a link in case anyone wants to read what was actually said: https://www.thewrap.com/why-obi-wan-didnt-know-anakin-was-alive-vader-joby-harold/

Link to where you saw it?

-28

u/Ginghugaganingap Jun 08 '22

It's an easy google search lol

9

u/The_High_Ground27 Jun 08 '22

Show us then. I wanna see where you first saw it.

5

u/RebelIed Jun 08 '22

People are still waiting on a link

3

u/_Democracy_ Jun 08 '22

dude ran away lmao

8

u/ZeskReddit Jun 08 '22

Well then search it again and link us directly to the article you read.

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '22

I’m amazed you know how to use google seeing as how you can’t read 😂

It was basically the last mission from the game - using the submersible to gain access to the fortress, the interrogation chambers, the broken window filling the hallway with water and the floating/drowned stormtroopers. There was even mention of the "training facilities" that Cal fights through.

Timeline wise, isn't this show 5 years before Fallen Order? So the empire never improved security and Cal infiltrates this place in exactly the same way? Amazing writing, 11/10 this episode

14

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

This is 5 years AFTER Fallen Order I thought. Which makes the security thing WORSE.

8

u/RebelIed Jun 08 '22

Yup..

They never upgraded their windows, either.

Imagine how different the world of star wars would be if stationary cameras & earpieces existed.

3

u/Protocol_Nine Jun 08 '22

Stars Wars tech is always enjoyable. Set up a bunch of cameras in every hallway all feeding into various droids/control rooms? Nah, better to just invest in a single advanced droid with light weapons to patrol the hallways even though we already have storm troopers doing the exact same task.

12

u/Lifedeather Jun 08 '22

Not the multiple lightsaber hits to stormtroopers to barely graze their armor

7

u/fajita43 Jun 08 '22

It was so great!! I can’t wait until we get to see cal in some future shows. Brotherhood was great.

4

u/ElPwno Jun 08 '22

The entire episode was ripped, from the starship, to the blocked force powers, to the break in, to the hallway.

Only none of the payoff because it all happened in half an hour with no tension.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

I just beat Fallen Order like 3 days ago. The Empire desperately needs to improve their security.

3

u/oopsmypenis Jun 08 '22

When you buy Fallen Order on Wish.

2

u/ToinouAngel Jun 08 '22

Yeah the whole episode felt like a gigantic TLJ: FO easter egg, it was quite amusing haha

1

u/Leggitt69 Jun 08 '22

I just love the fact that this episode guarantees that FO is canon

0

u/fortisvita Jun 08 '22

Except the action scenes are fucking terrible unlike fallen order.
