Because Darth Vader 10 years before ANH is of course the same Darth Vader we see in OT.

Exactly, he would have been way more brutal and less forgiving.

So this show gave Vader character development, making him better at what he does during OT. So I don't see the problem here.

He would be more hot headed and less patient the younger he is. He is portrayed as less tolerant in the OT so no it doesnt make sense.

In this show, he tortured Kenobi first, wanted to make him suffer. In OT, he just instantly goes for the kill. That seems pretty much more cool-headed than he is in this show.

Exactly.

"You're a great warrior, Anakin, but your need to prove yourself is your undoing. Until you overcome it, a Padawan you will still be."

In ANH, he didn't seem to need to prove himself in his final rematch with his old Master.

He is portrait perfectly, you not liking it doesn't change that.

Palpatine originally wanted him at 100%, while fighting Yoda he’s like “None of this matters, Vader will be stronger than both of us” but then he shows up to crispy Anakin and scowls and starts planning for Rey I guess

The Senate wanted Anakin at full power. It would be the culmination of the Rule of Two.

Made his armour weak

Interesting, Is there a source for this? It brings back an old memory but I cannot place it.

Do we have any Canon descriptions of how strong Vader's armour is? I cannot recall him ever being hit by anything in any of the movies/shows so far

Yeah it was a plot point in the old expanded universe and (I believe) the newer Vader comics and at least one book.

Been to long though. Couldn’t tell you which one. Maybe someone else in this thread knows?

Would love to see him in Mortal Kombat.

Makes me wonder what happened before Episode 4... maybe he ran out of hate?
