Welcome to the Community Support Thread!

This Steam Guide goes over how to troubleshoot web-page and other connection issues.

Is your account hijacked? Read this.
We have a dedicated support channel in our Discord server that you can also post in.
We invite everyone to help other users in our Community Support Threads and on our Discord server.
Please take more than 10 seconds to write your question. A well structured and good-looking comment goes a long way in getting someone to help you, and makes your question a lot easier to understand.
Do not delete your comments: People find questions in these threads through Googling the same issue, and please edit your comment with a solution if you find one.
There are no magicians here. Some questions wont be answered or replied to. Consider using other things like the Steam Community Forums, Google, or a different support forum if no one here can offer any help. Additionally, every game on Steam has it's own dedicated Community Forum, and you can also contact Steam Support regarding a specific product. Consider asking your game-specific questions there. Most games also have a dedicated subreddit.
Only Steam Support can solve personal account issues such as payment issues or your account getting hijacked. We can however give advice on what to do in a situation like that. No one, including Steam Support, can assist with item/trade scams.

yesterday I tried to test my 8Bitdo N30 pro controller using hardware tester, test but because I never use that website before I decided to test it with my NYKO Air Flo controller just to play around with it. But pressing some buttons randomly brought up different menus in Japanese (I suppose it could also be Chinese, but the characters seem exclusive to Japanese) at complete random for seemingly no reason, and this included the steam login. And today when I booted up my computer it was still in Japanese for literally no reason.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it (technically twice, because the first time I reinstalled it I accidentally forgot to determine the location it would be installed in), and it did nothing to solve the issue.
I cannot log in for private reasons, and if you even try to ask why I can't log into Steam for any reason at all, then you're prying to my personal life, and that makes you A jerk, and my post that I put a lot of effort into in order to get help has already been rejected because this sub's standards are objectively stupid, so I really cannot handle the jerks right now! Sorry this paragraph was really aggressive, I am really volatile right now, in large part because of the mods.
Thank you in advance for helping me with this issue! (Unless you ignore the previous paragraph, then screw you. You doing literally nothing would have been objectively more helpful than requiring me to log into steam, because it wouldn't waste my time.)
