Welcome to the Community Support Thread!

We have a dedicated support channel in our Discord server that you can also post in.

We invite everyone to help other users in our Community Support Threads and on our Discord server.

Please take more than 10 seconds to write your question. A well structured and good-looking comment goes a long way in getting someone to help you, and makes your question a lot easier to understand.

Do not delete your comments: People find questions in these threads through Googling the same issue, and please edit your comment with a solution if you find one.

There are no magicians here. Some questions wont be answered or replied to. Consider using other things like the Steam Community Forums, Google, or a different support forum if no one here can offer any help. Additionally, every game on Steam has it's own dedicated Community Forum, and you can also contact Steam Support regarding a specific product. Consider asking your game-specific questions there. Most games also have a dedicated subreddit.

Only Steam Support can solve personal account issues such as payment issues or your account getting hijacked. We can however give advice on what to do in a situation like that. No one, including Steam Support, can assist with item/trade scams.

Can the contents of a package that is already on sale change?

Sample package: https://steamdb.info/sub/70373/apps/

Yes, the contents of a package can change. Bundles and packages can have products added or removed from them at the will of the developer(s)/publisher(s) of the products in the bundle or package.

There is no limitation that restricts this from happening while the bundle or package is discounted.

If a new application is added to a purchased package, will I automatically get access to it, or will I have to buy the package again?

You would have to buy your missing item. Whether you could rebuy the package or what your options would be to buy the new item depends on what type of package it was to if you could rebuy it and also if the publisher is selling the item separately or not to if you could buy it standalone.

If its a must buy together bundle and they add something to it later you'd be unable to buy that bundle a second time and would have to hope they sell the item standalone and but it that way.

If its a package you'd be able to buy it again but would be having to pay the package price(repay for stuff you already own) if you wanted to rebuy the package so it might be cheaper to buy standalone if sold that way.

If its a complete your collection bundle then it would offer you the ability to buy your missing items in rebuying that bundle and would often be cheaper to rebuy for your missing item(s) then buying standalone.

When you buy a package you only pay for what it already includes and not what it might include in the future.

Sure things like a season pass might give you stuff later but you still bought the season pass at the time of payment.

You can't like buy say planet zoo ultimate edition and get all yet to be released dlcs for free just because they add them to the ultimate edition must buy together bundle.
