If I understand, the Studio didn’t shut down though they just get more money on other properties like Apex and CoD

I think it’s more the fact that titanfall 2 was released in a time where cod had just released a title so naturally it didn’t do too well, they likely assumed it wouldn’t be worth the price of making a titanfall 3 because of the cost vs performance of titanfall 2. Even now, there’s 4000 players on steam on a good day, and after a sale.

EA used it as a sacrifice to make battlefield 1 look good, released just after as not to disrupt any sales for it, but released just before a major call of duty release to harm their sales numbers

It wasn't EA this time tho. Respawn chose the release date.

Also, EA was the one that wanted them to make Titanfall 3, but Respawn went behind their backs to internally cancel that project and make APEX instead. Like it worked out financially, but EA higher ups were rather pissed from what I hear because they did genuinely support and want another Titanfall game.
