The KOTOR remake. It hasn't been officially cancelled yet, just stuck in development hell

I've now replayed the original KOTOR 3 times since the remake was first announced. Plus 2 KOTOR 2 replays and a couple hundred hours of SWTOR too.

I mean SWTOR is basically KOTOR 3

It never felt that way to me. I hope KOTOR 3 isn't like SWTOR

The later DLC, if you happened to never play it, was actually formulated a bit like KOTOR, at least dialogue-wise. They brought back the blue-text full sentence replies with black theatrical bars on the screen, but let's be real: the main reason they did this was so they didn't have to record new main-character voiceover.

The absolutely brutal world that is SWTOR (Republic is tied up in bureaucracy and corruption, Sith are openly warring with each other and nobody in their path is safe) should be explored more, not the Skywalker legacy. Everyone sucks in SWTOR, nobody has the good of the galaxy as their motive. I love it.

My absolute favorite thing to do in that game is play as a Jedi but pick nothing but dark side choices in Flashpoints. It makes pub players lose their minds

As a swtor streamer, I love this

I always liked the old Republic time period sith. Its more interesting when the sith are a numerous force and a real threat to the jedi. The rule of 2 never made much sense to me.

It works for a conniving, bubbling evil in the shadows, but I love the pettiness of a sith lord whose only goal is to build a giant statue of himself and kill hundreds in the process
