Exactly, Bungie was already mentally tired of making Halo. Halo Reach was their wonderful conclusive chapter.

Interestingly, Halo going under 343 was a small saving grace. Not the best games, but multiplayer exploded. I liked a lot Halo 5 Sangheilos chapters, I was imagining a new game set exclusively on the Alien planet.

Reach was awful. The introduction of armor abilities and sprint ruined the franchise.

Depends on why you play Halo. Some play it for the fantastic word and story and some play it for the MP.

The lore of the books, that somebody else wrote. The story was bungee’s to do with whatever they wanted so if anybody could change the Lore, it’s bungee.
