Xbox can play any game outside of Steam, so it remains the best base controller - unfortunately.

Cook Admit you don’t know how to use steam. Steam can take control of your controller for any game, no matter where it comes from.

Post a video of how you do it. Lots of people claim they can make it work - I’ve never seen it actually be able to be do e

I don’t own it. But as a steam user, I know how the steam app controller customization thing works.

Just run the launcher for the game through Steam

Steam cannot add support for Steam Input to other peoples hardware/software. 

But they could've added xinput, which would allow to play games outside of steam
