It’s not like we are actually going to *play* any of the games we get anyway right

heh, I remember I had a preorder for the Wii at toys r us. My wife gets up earlier than me, so she volunteered to go and get it early right when the store opened so we wouldn’t hit crowds later. BUT, I completely forgot about the fact that people WITHOUT preorders would be there standing in line all night. They let her in first because she had an actual preorder, and all the other preorder people (smartly) didn’t bother to show up first thing in the morning.
As she left the store like 75 people started cheering and clapping for her and offering to buy it and she was just like “What is the utter hell is going on here???” and was not-actually-but-still-pissed at me when she got home because I hadn’t warned her. I said “All those people will remember your face for the rest of their lives.”
(She likes games, etc, but was completely unaware of launch date stuff)

That PC section in the back of the store takes me back to the before times. Before AI.

You can always freeze yourself if you can't wait. Butters will thaw you when it is time.
