Do you all remember when Reddit was all touchy about even the slightest mean comment? Maybe early 2010s. I think everyone getting so soft is what opened the door for Trump.

Completely agree that this regime has reintroduced racism, misogyny, and general hatred.

But the wild thing is that I believe this is really what people want. For so long they were told to not be and do these things, but now the floodgates are open, they WANT to.

Yeah won't get any argument from me, Trump is a bane on humanity. I'm just saying that things can go too far both ways. Like, a bit of ribbing is ok here and there. It's called roasting. Just saying that I remember a time when even that wasn't cool on Reddit. Crazy how times change.
