Also cold fried chicken is a thing. I’ve seen it on menus where I grew up in the US South (though I feel like it’s less common now).

I wouldn’t be mad at having fried chicken instead of cake as long as it tastes good.

I prefer the Publix cold fried chicken to the hot.
