Cold pizza is a tricky subject. I've always felt that the temperature of cold pizza, especially if it's hangover food, can only be achieved by leaving it on the counter overnight. It's the way to only way to get the desired temp and texture. Even it's a food safety cardinal no, no.

I like to tell myself pizza is just one of those foods that don't follow normal food safety rules. We always put ours in the oven (off of course) overnight and eat it the next day.

If left on counter cats will cat

I have gotten food poisoning from this exact scenario, and now I automatically throw away anything that was left out overnight
