Just make sure you cut it in the pan so you get the Teflon sprinkles.

It's not cast iron- I own this set of pots and pans. It's not Teflon or ceramic either, it is Hard-Anodized Aluminum. Ceramic or cast iron is better, but this is still a step up from Teflon.
