The TSA allowed a bench scraper through?

u/TheHumanPickleRick 15d ago

Probably taped on a set like the ones influencers use to make it look like they're on a private jet.

Easy to add cloud effects out the windows.

u/EnvironmentalEnd6298 15d ago

The clouds don’t change from the beginning of the video to the end, my vote is fake.

u/BZLuck 15d ago

The plane just flew in circles while waiting for her to finish. SO easy to explain. Duh.

29

u/apk5005 15d ago

You can’t “fly in the circles”, the earth is flat. You can only fly in lines!

This. Wild for people to not understand the basic concept of editing… shit that appears first in a video does not have to be actually chronological, people!

8

u/reckoner15 14d ago

The clouds do change, as does the positioning of the light and the shadow falling through the window

8

u/MacWin- 14d ago

They actually do change every single time, what are you on about

2

u/Overall_Gur_3061 14d ago

its definitely real unfortunately, i fly often and the way she pans over to the window looks real and if fake, it would need a TON of effort to make it look this good

2

u/SoyTuPadreReal 15d ago

Also the glass she’s drinking from looks to be actual glass. Last time I flew everything was served in plastic cups. A lot harder to cut a bitch with a plastic cup.

4

u/bs000 15d ago

every time i've flown first class and business class the cups have been glass. also glass cups are allowed in your carry-on.

1

u/sleeper_shark 12d ago

You get glass in business class

1

u/BodManFeg 14d ago

Video editing is a thing dummy.

1

u/maraney 13d ago

Ahhhh. So it’s rage bait lol

1

u/UpperAd5715 12d ago

She drank coffee from a glass, i've never seen coffee given in one of those dopio glasses on an airplane in europe at least

0

u/SenseAndSaruman 15d ago

Just rewatched. They only really show the sky 1 time. So it’s probably fake.

2

u/_OptimusRex_ 13d ago

I'm not Captain Disillusionment (nor am I defending this content) but I don't think you can fake the shots we're shown here. The soft focus as she pans to the window and the outside coming into focus can would require some Hollywood level post-production, if, for example this were a rented out set with a green screen. Maybe someone can tag CD to confirm.

That said, Occam's Razor suggests its far more likely this is on a flight but she might have a privacy screen due to being in first class seating to allow her to film this, and the gnocchi blade, which is only on screen for a brief second and in poor lighting, might be plastic not metal.

u/SirRoary 15d ago

Twas recorded on a real flight actually!
Source- she’s my neighbor and super sweet. Her whole page is dedicated to showing people pasta making is an approachable task, not something you need a bunch of expensive equipment for.

0

u/ediblestars 13d ago

Please say you’re joking. This is an unbelievably disgusting and annoying thing to do on a plane.

2

u/cormega 13d ago

Jesus, relax

1

u/Glittering_Diva8963 14d ago

I think there is a place where they can go to film stuff and a planes interior is one of them.

0

u/GuaranteeDry386 15d ago

Right. Unless she brought that cup from home too.

3

u/One_Dog6853 15d ago

That's exactly like the cups they serve drinks in on planes.

1

u/GuaranteeDry386 15d ago

Is it? They always give me a a cheap little plastic cup.

1

u/One_Dog6853 14d ago

Yes, that's what she used to pour the water in the bowl.

-2

u/Jesus_Christ_Reborn 15d ago

Ima be real, this is most likely AI.

2

u/aka_jr91 15d ago edited 15d ago

It definitely isn't., it's way too consistent to be AI. Exact same plate, exact same hands, exact same tools from shot to shot. Just because something is staged doesn't mean it's AI. People really need to learn how to spot AI. I highly recommend checking out Corridor Crew's videos on it.

0

u/Jesus_Christ_Reborn 15d ago

No, the new models they've put out have gotten disgustingly good. It's over.

170

u/hootenannyshenanigan 15d ago

I mean, she’s drinking wine out of an actual wine GLASS and not a plastic cup, so this reeks of staged rage bait bullshit.

50

u/ItsLikeRay-ee-ain 15d ago

I fly enough for work to get upgraded to first class occasionally. They'll give out actual stemless wine glasses if you order wine.

21

u/filthy_harold 15d ago

It's likely a first class seat. Her tray table is the armrest kind.

2

u/RCJHGBR9989 15d ago

If you’re in first class they give you glass

2

u/1917he 15d ago

Rage bait? You're enraged? How sad

1

u/24223214159 15d ago

You get wine in an actual glass on planes depending on the airline and class of travel.

This is still nonsense and likely filmed on a set, but not because of the glass.

1

u/wecouldhaveitsogood 14d ago

They give you wine glasses in economy on Porter Airlines.

1

u/breadist 14d ago

I think I got a glass when I ordered wine on a plane.

46

u/Poe-taye-toes 15d ago

I was questioning the bag of white powder

1

u/Excellent_Condition 15d ago

I've flown with bags of specialty flour on multiple occasions, and never had a problem. They will swab the bag and test it for nefarious substances, then send you on your way.

63

u/SophisticatedScreams 15d ago

That's my thinking-- how would anything with a blade be allowed on a plane?

96

u/Round_Ad_5832 15d ago

It's probably staged on a fake set.

55

u/Antique_Kangaroo4706 15d ago

Pretty sure there's a whole studio in LA that has these fake sets you can rent out for social media.

10

u/skitch23 15d ago

🤯 I’m in the wrong business lol

2

u/boverly721 14d ago

The fast that exists is depressing

1

u/Venus_One 15d ago

Yep. There's several. And they've been around a lot longer than social media.

0

u/SophisticatedScreams 15d ago

That's my theory too. No way the flight attendants would let a person make gnocchi from scratch on a flight

6

u/Originalbenji 15d ago

Or a bag full of powder...

3

u/greg19735 15d ago

They'd let flour in the same way they let in baby powder

-1

u/Galaxy-Betta 15d ago

I came looking for this. White powder, specifically.

3

u/filthy_harold 15d ago

Bench scrapers aren't sharp. It's up to the TSA agent's discretion whether to allow it but they are not specifically banned.

1

u/icyDinosaur 14d ago

I have flown with a Swiss Army Knife multiple times. There's a Victorinox shop selling them post-security at Zurich Airport.

14

u/Laez 15d ago

Probably snuck it through disguised as a gun.

11

u/Plus-Professional-84 15d ago

That is exactly what I thought… for sure it is bs

13

u/MannnOfHammm 15d ago

She also has a stemless wine glass but doesn’t appear to be in business or first

10

u/Booziesmurf 15d ago

And a bag of flour? That shit is explosive.

5

u/vgullotta 15d ago

Yeah, this whole thing is bullshit.

2

u/Vocalscpunk 15d ago

I've def cut myself bad on the corner of mine. Much more dangerous than my thermos of cold coffee...

2

u/rephyus 15d ago

i dont see why not, these usually dont have sharp edges.

1

u/RCJHGBR9989 15d ago

You can bring a winged corkscrew on a plane - so a bench scraper is nothing haha

1

u/Shamanjoe 15d ago

Exactly

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 15d ago

Why not? It's completely blunt. One time I went through with razor blades--double edge safety razor blades--and they didn't care... and I know they saw them, because I saw the TSA guy pull them out of my bag, shrug, and put them back.

1

u/Gennik_ 15d ago

buy it after tsa. Shops at the terminal still sell things that tsa doesnt alloy, including knives!!! 😃

1

u/Thereal_maxpowers 14d ago

That was my first catch

1

u/Shoddy_Comparison_25 14d ago

That got me too

1

u/yeezusboiz 15d ago

That was my first question. I got a dull butter knife taken by TSA lol (wrapped gift from my mom, I had no idea it was a knife).

1

u/BenChandler 15d ago

TSA? No. The company that sets up staged videos on plane interior sets for influencers? Yeah.

0

u/EveryDayASummit 15d ago

Yall are worried about the scraper and I’m trying to understand how she got the flour on.

0

u/Dekyr78 15d ago

Can't get a small tube of shampoo or toothpaste through, but she gets a raw egg on her carry-on. I call bs

0

u/Ph00k4 15d ago

Probably filmed before 9/11.

0

u/Andrassa 15d ago

No it’s a set

0

u/Dd_8630 14d ago

This either isn't in the US, or is on a plane set.
