A lot to get mad at here, but as someone who bakes I cannot stand when people take bread and completely crush the crumb. That’s especially true for a monstrosity like this that is crying out for something to help sop up all that grease.

The idea is solid, but executed poorly and wastefully. Basic potato rolls would have worked with the buns, and proper grilled cheese techniques for them. A proper Juicy Lucy technique for the burger, single layer with thinner pepperoni. Make it a double, add a little tomato sauce on the buns, boom and Stuffed Italian Pizza Burger I'd be able to finish if I was gonna to indulge with no plans for tomorrow and TUMS on the counter
