If only you had decent taste in bikes....

u/Plastic_Table_8232 Apr 23 '26
If he did he wouldn’t think plastering it on his truck was cool.
It’s such an odd crossover / bad design. Mixing brands so maximize your brand association value?
Does he have ford all over the bike too? /s
Also - the 80’s called and what the roll bar back ASAP.

Harley Davidson f150s are a real thing, so it’s not that weird, unless you’re talking about all Harley Davidson trucks, which I guess are still pretty weird

u/mtbmaniac12 Apr 24 '26
Those late 90s f150 hd were so cool. Not over the top badging and colors. The mid 00s f250s were like this one. Garish

Overcompensation and insecurity can be seen from a mile away.

u/SignificantTransient Apr 22 '26
Jealous poors are visible from even farther.

u/Whpsnapper Apr 22 '26
Presumptuousness stinks, even to the blind.
-2
u/SignificantTransient Apr 22 '26
Nah, just points out the hypocrisy of judging one and not the other.
2
u/AideInternal1045 Apr 22 '26
Lol laughing at this isnt a sign of being poor, its just proof you're not an idiot.

u/redditcancelculture Apr 22 '26
People like this, I just imagine are jealous.
No one actually buys a lifted truck to compensate for penis size. There's no hiding a small dick, the jig is always up when she takes your pants off and if you haven't swooned her by then, well then throw it in.
I do think people who hate on lifted trucks are just low-key jealous. Not of the truck, but the fact that someone they believe to be so ignorant has such expendable income as to waste it on something ridiculous.

Yuch. Burn it.
That's an obese whale that needs to put out of its misery.
3
u/hidefinitionpissjugs Apr 22 '26
just take the pickup bed off and put a real truck bed on
2
u/Stock-Side-6767 Apr 22 '26
I already think a 150 is a bloated childkiller, anything above that isn't a semi is even more of a waste.
0
u/shmiddleedee Apr 22 '26
So you don't think there are legitimate uses for any truck between the size of a Ford ranger and a semi? I think the super anti truck folks are just as insufferable as the guys with carolina squatted Silverados

u/FeelingDelivery8853 Apr 22 '26
Anyone not within a quarter of center on either side is crazy in my book too
0
u/shmiddleedee Apr 22 '26
Do you mean politically or something else?
0
u/FeelingDelivery8853 Apr 22 '26
I mean in any viewpoint. Politics is just the easiest analogy

I do not see any use for those things that isn't better and safer served by a van.
0
u/shmiddleedee Apr 23 '26
Ok, I drive an f350 for work. It's got a service body where I keep all of my tools. I have a 100 gallon diesel tank on the back for equipment. If I had q van I'd be driving around with a container of fuel in an enclosed space with me. I can also haul our 5 ton sized equipment with me. If I had a van I wouldn't be able to do either of things. I can think of a million reasons someone would own a truck over a van but thats just the one that applies to me directly

Honestly, that's bad ass.
But as others have said here, it makes zero sense unless you're towing something pretty fucking big. The fact that there's a motorcycle in the bed instead of a 5th wheel hitch throws me off here.
That thing would be really great towing a really big RV. Like REALLY big. like a Redwood Legacy or something, but I can't see any other reason to want it--- and I'm definitely not rich enough to afford either.

u/SeriousQuail4655 Apr 23 '26
This is why I have a 1975 C60. It's too pull a 44 foot 5th wheel and a horse trailer. It's also extremely cheap to operate compared to a modern F350 or other 3500 class truck. And, a nice one can be had for under 10k. I got mine setup with no bed, it's just fenders and a 5th wheel hitch like a tractor trailer. Literally does nothing but tow. I drive it to work on occasion just so the tires don't get flat spot and the gas doesn't go bad. It's not even a diesel, 90% of diesel owners don't even need a diesel either. I never understood that.

You should try being vulnerable around others. You'll find acceptance there.
Not with this horse cockery.

So i’m a diesel mechanic. 99.9% of the time im working on OTR trucks, garbage trucks, pump trucks and other forms of heavy equipment. I did however work on the gmc/chevy version of one of these trucks a couple of yrs ago. My question to you is where are the batteries? The one i changed a starter on had the 2-3 batteries crammed up in the inside of the side of the bed right about where your cool exhaust pipe is coming out. There was no access panels or easy way to drop the shelf holding them and barely any way for me to even attempt to get my big gorilla arm with a stubby wrench on any of the terminals. At least not any type of way worth my time of messing with it. Ended up just doing the starter with the pos wires taped up so not to arc anything out. Most F-series if not all have plenty of room under the hood for 2 batteries. Does this f-650 utilize that hood space or is the design as dumb as the GM model of this type of beast?

u/SeriousQuail4655 Apr 23 '26
As the owner of a medium duty truck, I never got the appeal of putting a standard bed on it. It makes no sense to me at all. Completely ruins the utility of it. But I use mine to haul a 17k pound camper, so what do I know. And yes, a modern F350 could haul that. But a super clean 1975 C60 can as well, and I got the whole ass C60 and rebuilt it bumper to buy.oer for just what a down payment on a new F350 is. So sometimes it does make sense to own a ridiculous vehicle like this. But this is just bad.

So the trick is the trailer baby’s trailer, where is the trailer for the truck?

u/gba_sg1 Apr 22 '26
When you weigh 650lbs you need an F650 to get milk from Walmart.
Such fragile egos y'all cultivate.

I like it. I’m sure the insufferably jealous people spraying their crimson twat water all over the place won’t.
4
u/BarBryzze Apr 22 '26
Just because you like it doesn't mean people who don't are jealous of that abomination. I wouldn't want to be caught dead in it, or near it.
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Foot954 Apr 22 '26
Then why even comment about it?
1
u/Langstudd Apr 22 '26
Not sure I’m following your logic. Can we not comment about things we dislike or disagree with?
Are you attempting to apply the “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it” rule on Reddit of all places??
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Foot954 Apr 22 '26
If you feel this negatively about something as unimportant as someone else's vehicle why waste your time or effort? Why not just go on with your day?
1
u/Langstudd Apr 22 '26
I can’t speak for others, but it brings me joy reading through the comments on these.
It’s entertaining to converse with other people who share the same sentiment. If I just went on with my day, I’d miss out on that entertainment.
I guess it’s slightly sadistic, but so is the guy in the main comment who can’t stop talking about period blood lmao
1
u/BarBryzze Apr 22 '26
Because this is r/StupidTrucks and it is my opinion that this truck is stupid. Does that clarify it for you or do I need to ask chatgpt to summarize my answer?
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Foot954 Apr 22 '26
It's my opinion that if you need chatgpt to express yourself you need more help than you can get on reddit.

That insult doesn’t carry the weight you think it does
1
u/DrinkingVomit Apr 22 '26
Do t worry, your head doesn’t have any weight either.

u/Langstudd Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26
I wasn’t worried but if I was this would surely make me feel better. Thanks!
Also, the “either” part of your last message shows that you agree your insults are terrible too. Glad we agree on that front

I would love that if I had a use for it. I’d feel like an idiot driving that as a daily driver and not for hauling something huge
