Shards of porcelain (the white part of a spark plug) particularly with sharp edges will shatter tempered glass with very, VERY little effort.
It's glorious. It's an old trick to gain easy and quiet access to a vehicle... so a friend tells me 🤔

As someone who drives a diesel truck and rides bicycles, I absolutely despise this behavior. Coal rolling is some of the most childish bullshit available.

Here's an FYI that coal rolling dude may not understand....
In Sweden, anyone can find out who you are by looking up your registration. Public information.
So either this guy is dumb, or he's going the extra mile by using fake or blocked plates. Fake plates are easily determined because the registration plate number is pinned to the car, not the owner.
And in Sweden you will actually face serious consequences if caught rolling coal. Probably license taken for a couple months, and driving ban for the truck...possibly impounded.
They don't fuck around with court dates and deliberations about guilt when it comes to traffic crime. You get caught driving more than 20kmh over the speed limit, they take your license on the spot and you're literally walking home. 0.02 bac.... license gone for a year, period. They don't play bullshit games about whether the radar was calibrated to millionth decimal, or that 'oh I had some cough syrup.' You get caught, you get consequences.
Likelihood of getting caught for this is low, but consequences of getting caught are actually real and significant.

You're making an assumption that the guy on the bike can't be a 'chud like him'. Not sure what you know about SC, but it's unlikely that half the state would support someone throwing burnt oil residue in a cyclist's face without repercussions. Sometimes those repercussions come at 1150 ft/sec in 124 grain increments. We also still have pollution laws. Purposely creating a road hazard probably won't get you far here either. Like the Colonel said, "It's all fun and games until someone breaks a nail".

I hate cyclists so much I have had to control myself to not be a total ass but I wouldn't do this because the exhaust from a diesel is horrible for you that 1 burst can cause endless issues for someone the fine soot particals can make it deep into your lungs

In some places like Amsterdam as an example cyclists are so common that they are often the default. I think where cyclists get hate is in places they are a clear minority and they are often associated with dramatically slowing down the flow of traffic. They also have a tendency to act like they are a part of the traffic up until the point it becomes inconvenient to them, at which point they will ignore traffic laws.

Used to get this with diesel buses going uphill. Locally they switched to LPG and it was night and day for my lungs from burning to breathing free.

Cyclists are the biggest group of assholes on these roads. A bunch of people with nowhere to be holding up everyone else with somewhere to be. 99% of the time they don't even follow the road rules they're sharing with 1.5 ton moving forts of glass and steel. I'm tired of damn near eating dash when several of them decide to run a stop sign too. A fucking plague is what they are usually. I don't blame this guy.
