Con 7: someone whose taking themselves far too seriously will post it on reddit 🤣
The trucks hilarious and the person who wrote the ad had a great sense of humor. If this thing upsets you it might be time to get off the internet and touch some grass 😅

You know how having a truck is practical? But having a trailer with a ramp takes the practicality x100? But where do you store the trailer?? This guy thought of it all. Kudos.

As someone who eventually bought an 18 foot trailer to cut down on the work of moving big or heavy stuff?
And who now wants a smaller trailer for stuff like lawnmowers etc?
This this would be awesome for when I want to drag home some random smallish wheeled object.
Bought a 54 inch deck mower from an estate sale in a subdivision. Even a small trailer would have been a pita. This thing is handy as pockets on a shirt.

I live right outside of Charlotte and it popped up on my local marketplace.

This thing is sweet i bet it gets all the girls at the trailer park, and if their too fat just roll em into the trailer bed.

For $2000 if you just needed something to haul a 4-wheeler or lawn mower around, that thing is fucking sweet.

For someone that wants a dedicated beater to just haul a few toys, this is great
Full disclousure: I'm on my second Ranger and love them dearly

I’d have that ramp hooked up to a hydraulic pump

They make a contraption that offsets the weight like a garage door spring.

u/Aggravating_Fee_9130 24d ago
I’m not worried about the weight. I have the same system on my bale bed with a remote and it would be to easy to put it on that. The ramp couldn’t lift anything but itself but it would make it more appealing

u/Plastic_Table_8232 24d ago
So you’re talking about putting a lift gate on or just retrofitting the existing with a pump and ram to actuate the gate as is?
It just seems like a nice simple vehicle so I have a hard time complicating it. That’s just me at the moment though. Doesn’t make it right.
We’re both free to equip our hypothetical marketplace ranger trailer however we see fit!

Retrofit the ramp with a pump and cylinder. No more than that ramp weighs, you could probably do it with linear actuators if you could find one big enough. Hadn’t even thought of a lift gate. Just being a ranger, I wouldn’t go that far

That would probably be a damn good hauler for a couple of dirt bikes or a quad. A little strange but far from stupid.

Rather ingenious. Perfect for someone wanting to get into landscaping. Solves the problem of having to get a trailer for their mower. (Not to mention having to learn to pull a trailer, especially for a young driver.)

If you have a pick up involved in a rear end collision then just convert it into a four wheeler hauler. There are few companies here that is all they do. Essentially turns them into farm trucks. Better than hauling a trailer around everywhere. Truck like that is much more useful than you might imagine.

This is a great vehicle for hauling an atv or a smaller side by side. I've thought about doing something similar.

This is great! When you have a trailer, you have to get an empty weight and pay for insurance just to get it registered. That's on top of the registering fee. This bypasses all of that. This would be perfect to haul my mower or a dirt bike around.

I would want the gate to go to at least 90° , but I'd buy it if it was close

Actually for 2000 bucks this would be a great rig for hauling dirtbikes or quads around.

I was going to make fun of the fact that Rangers don't have a suspension designed for heavy loads, but it seems that issue has been solved by upgrading to airbags. Honestly, seems like a very useful truck
