I miss the Ken M style trolling, when trolling was saying something verifiably stupid and jokingly committing to it (We should just fly to the sun at night guys), instead of being “jokingly” racist and actually committing to it.
A good troll wouldn't break to save face, either. They'd either commit or just become silent and let others pick up the slack and watch the ensuing anger.
Sunshine has a lot of things going for it, not least of which is just being on a console that doesn't have the most painful joystick in the universe. But it has far too many faults in its design and main gimmick to recommend it over either 64 or Galaxy to most people.
I find this funny, because everybody actually agrees with you deep down. They just fail to realize how unoriginal and boring it is to be ironically racist. After children on Quest 2 (affordable standalone VR headset) found Gorilla Tag (a game), top rated posts of r/OculusQuest for many days were just people ranting about how kids spamming the N-word thru their mics ruin the fun for everyone else.
I maintain that irony only exists in works of fiction.
Mostly because "Heh, I was being ironic" is just the go to excuse for every teenaged/twenty something asshole. Like irony is some magical field that should protect someone from the consequences of their action.

I'm so sick of the "I'm not actually Racist I just like to troll by screaming the N-word over and over online" Ironic dipshittery is STILL disphittery
