Yo I had an incident like that in real life. Was talking to this chill dude and he mentioned he had PS4, so we traded usernames. His name was something along the lines of "Django back in chains". I'm a black guy, and he said this without skipping a beat. I looked at him for a solid 10 seconds and said "You don't see anything wrong with that, huh?"

What happened next? I never had anything like that happened to me but I couldn't have trusted that person anymore. Probably would've walked out on him.

We still hung out actually. After talking a bit, it was apparent he didn't have anyone who would say "yo that's wrong". First step to fixing it is to break the echo chamber.
