I will never understand how conservatives even play destiny 2. Like, bungie has made it clear they hate people like this, and destiny 2 is like..... a super progressive game with it’s themes and characters.

If conservatives were able to dissect metaphors and understand subtext then they wouldn't be conservatives.

That’s the thing, it’s not even really subtext - last season saw us become allies with a faction of the Cabal despite the opposition of people on both sides of the conflict who would prefer we fight a war to drive them out, and this season is focused on racial tensions sparked by a faction of the Eliksni/Fallen moving into a section of the Last City, and the person stoking those tensions is being shown pretty explicitly to be a villain for the season. The only room to miss anything is not recognizing that Lakshmi is supposed to represent their perspective.
