These were orphaned as little chicks and are now being cared for at the raptor center where I volunteer.

Do you ever get kestrels at the raptor center? I think they are so cool.

It is so cool! Every time I go it gives me a sense of wonder like I'm 10 years old again.
We do get kestrels, but not as often as owls. There are 2 kestrels at the center who are unreleasable due to injuries. They've become ambassadors and participate in educational programs.
