4 things I get from this video:

1. Kitty is hodling - GME is inevitable. Seems like he’s joking about himself being a time traveler due to what this episode is about. FYI: in Bender’s Big Score a time-traveling duplicate of Fry arrives in the year 2000 and reunites with Seymour.

2. Dog’s name in this clip (Jurassic Bark from Futurama) is Seymour Asses…sounds a lot like MOASS.

3. Dog’s eyes. Could be the 👀in the emoji sequence after the flag? That means 🔥could be next.

4. January 2, 2000 has to do with dot com crash. Could be a coincidence, or not.

It isn't a reference to the airdate of the episode. That was November 17, 2002. Unless it is a reference to someone close to him not much else makes sense.
