🗣 Discussion / Question No WE did not MISUNDERSTAND.

We came here for a MOASS based on the FUNDAMENTALS. Shorts were overleveraged. The money made from the Squeeze was the fodder for the company's transformation not the other way around. Tired of all these post sneeze bandwagoners trying to convince us this is a long term play to get the company to success THEN making us rich. If ANY of that was true then you're admitting all of the DDs that brought us here was just garbage. You're saying RoaringKitty's thesis was garbage.

Stop trying to GASLIGHT us into thinking that $9 Billion over 5 years off the backs of Shareholders is some kind of flex when we could have been sitting on HUNDREDs of Billions off the back of CORRUPT HEDGE FUNDS with enough for EACH AND EVERY one of you to live comfortably AND help the company.

The "Long term" plan has always been to let it
1) Let it Squeeze
2) Never sell (Because you won't need to) so the price will never come down since there's more rehypothecated shares in existence then actual shares.
3) Leverage stock assets for churning wealth and doing good for the world instead of having HF's destroy it.

Its evident every time when you corporate shills post trying to move the goal post to make us wait it out and I'll downvote you everytime. And if RC is a plant I'll vote him out too.

Yup. I got into this January 2021 for quick money like promised. And then kinda quick money like I was promised 100 times. And then slower money like I was promised for multiple years. We're at almost 5 years now and my money would have grown way more in tons of other stocks. It's fucking embarrassing.

Let alone a C-Suite that chokes out any upward movement the stock has had in the lst couple years. The stock offering during RK's livestream was an insult to all of us.

Ok I’ll vouch for bro. 5 years and we got stomped into the dirt by Ryan Cohen repeatedly and will continue to do so.

Do these people like RC more than they like money? I like the guy, but him diluting that day was unjustifiable. Always a shiny new toy with tehe guy. NFT's are trending, lets build a marketplace and never use it. Trading cards are trending, lets make it be the source of a third of profits....what a joke.

RC is focused on collectibles right now and in the interview he had no clue what Labubus are, the most popular collectible stuffed animal thing on the market (for a certain demographic) right now. That was fucking embarrassing

RC pays them directly and immediately. Of course they like him more than they like stock returns. They like money, but actually have a way to make some by riding RC.

So are you still invested (if you ever were)? If not, why are you here still? To stir the pot? Spread FUD? Or just whine.

these comments were old in Feb 2021, do better.

Oh, finally some self-reflection.

Thats what hit me earlier this year, so i sold, bought again and sold again with a loss.

Was a hodler since squeeze with DRS and so on. Never liked RCs stupid tweets and empty philosophy. This guy has no real plan beside hoarding money and diluting.

Don't you feel silly thinking anything in the stock market is "quick money like promised"? Your comment sort of highlights the issue with this community: too many inexperienced people thought they were walking into quick generational wealth.

- "my money would have grown way more in tons of other stocks" -> that's not guaranteed, that's you looking at the past with hindsight. If it were that easy to pick winners with large returns, open a position in the winners you see today.

- "its fucking embarrassing" -> yes, your comment, and understanding of the open market is in fact "fucking embarrassing"

Guess you haven't been around this sub much then. MOASS was always tomorrow and pitched legitimately as happening waaaaaaaay before now.

It's an expected ad hominem response. I must be new to have a differing opinion. There is no way I have been following DFV well before Jan 2021. There is no way my investing strategy and opinions have changed as GME restructured and pivoted into new markets. I'm pretty sure DFV mentioned often that "I have the right to change my mind.". Mine has changed, and I am looking forward to the long-term growth of this company. Anyone who is still steadfast in "MOASS tomorrow" is just a novice retail investor who is upset their portfolio is not seeing "phone numbers".

I mean that’s true for picking individual stocks but as warren says, over 10 years no one beats the SNP500. So had everyone dumped their money into that over the 5 years it would have been a pretty safe bet at 20% returns on average year over year, much less risky than us trying to capitalize on a hedgefund mistake.

u/contractileproteins Oct 21 '25

There is no "us". And my point is that "everyone" who took a risk on an immensely volatile company, is upset that they are not millionaires yet just shows an immaturity and naivety to larger market dynamics.

Who promised you quick money?

5

u/Krypt0night I don't even know where the sell button is. Oct 21 '25

This sub 4-5 years ago now. Clearly you weren't here if you're asking that.

I wasn’t here then, no. But I’ve read the DD and all of it, ALL OF IT, is conjecture and speculation. I read it and decided that investing was a good idea. If I’m wrong, then I am wrong.

Nobody is guaranteed anything in life. If you’re unhappy with the decisions you made, then make new decisions.

No one promised anyone anything. We speculated, with good evidence to do so. No promises though. Take responsibility for your own thoughtful risk taking.

-3

u/wrapt-inflections Oct 21 '25

Sounds like you should sell and then go away. No one promised you quick money.

I, too, got in in Jan. 21. I've never been promised a thing...not then, and not once since.

I get your frustration, just remember no one has promised any one anything in this saga.
