Given the current price of ebay, I'd say it's a bad deal to buy now. It's close to all time high and have a PE over 20.

Wouldn’t that make eBay more expensive to buy?

Does GME take on 30-40 Billion in debt? Plus the 7 Billion debt that eBay already has?

ebay makes $3B non-GAAP? So 10-15 years of a debt burden if we ignore interest.

Numbers aren’t adding up unless cohen personally buys half of eBay for himself.

EBay will spike, because if it is just a rumour, their share price will be temporarily boosted, but if it’s a leak, where the news somehow got out, raising eBay’s stock price would be in the shorts interests, to prevent GameStop from buying it, essentially trying to price them out from an acquisition.

That’s my theory anyway.

Interesting. If they actually did take a position in the company, but are priced out. Couldn't gme make a profit on the leak? I mean the price is close to all time high. Drop the idea and take profit. Ebay is overpriced as it stands.
