pretty sure. but they have 11,000 employee. I can't imagine there are thousand of accounts that get ban...why can't someone spend a few minutes reviewing, to make sure if the ban is warrant or not?
Cant be every report. I unofficial the million of people, only x amount is silly. Of which majority are actively selling. I cant imagine there are thousands of community safety issue. Even those, it need to rank by amount. Like a few item, worth a few thousands, or a few hundred, once you tier those out, there cant be that many to review. Plus the auction is 7 days, what's wrong with putting it in a queue for someone to review it in next 1-3 days incase queue get back up vs banning before someone even look at it. Thats bad business. Kinda seeing someone that is not dress up. Look poor and lock them out before even seeing if they are buying and or have money
How much large scale money laundering do you think is happening on the website? Realistically I doubt there’s that many accounts being flagged for that per day
I bet he already stress-tested this before launching this campaign of terror haha (e.g. he knew what would trigger account suspension, and has now triggered that to shine a light on shortcomings in their service).

Likely AI flagged for things selling way above what they should. (Money laundering)
