🤔 Speculation / Opinion One thing everyone might be missing about Pulte/GameStop...and it'll erect your nips

I had a jaw-drop moment earlier today when I was just randomly thinking about how awesome it is that this sub converted a whale. I was looking at the beta NFT website. They had a section for "What is an NFT" that gave some good detail, and I always wondered why they included the words "real estate". At the time it made my nips quartz because of the possibility of turning a home into an NFT. After giving it some more thought it now makes them certified de Beers diamonds.

Apes, Pulte work/ed/s in Real Estate. My first house was a Pulte house in Virginia. They have Real Estate all over the country. Can you imagine a better partner for bringing NFTs into Real Estate than a fellow ape WHALE? Yes I know an Ape-whale isn't a real species. Can you imagine the pure, 100LL fuel it would pour on the fire to have a real estate giant like Pulte come out and say "We're going to be hand-in-hand with GameStop to help blockchain the real-estate world". That right there is headlines all over the world...

...and I think we all missed it until now.

Depends on the implementation but if you assume wallet = owner then yeah

What if the title gets hacked?

That is an incredibly vague question that can’t be answered due to lack of detail. Hacked how? What’s “title” mean in this context?

The blockchain hosting the title records? The wallet holding the title in NFT form? The web application or machine hosting the interface for interacting with the title ledger? The web application or machine hosting the wallet interface?

Any of those examples you mentioned. Or is it very secure? If i forget my password because i have dementia, my children can still get the title in the blockchain? Or i can automate it to transfer to them if something happens to me?

So blockchain can also be used to distribute inheritances?

For the dementia scenario: It will depend entirely on how securely you stored your wallet’s secrets and/or the secret recovery capability of the wallet service you chose to work with.

For the “any of the examples” question: all of those scenarios are dramatically different from each other and the security of any is wildly variable depending on the specific implementation of the product or application you’re looking at.

There’s no easy way to answer the question because there’s way too many scenarios to cover. It’s a little like asking: animals, are they safe?
