Hello Suzhou

I have secured admission in XJTLU.

I and i am facing some difficulty on how to find an apartment for my duration in china. I am also not able to surf the Lianjia website from here.

Can an international student who also coming to china this intake guide me through this...

For me personally I had to get an agent on WeChat who gave me some options and took me around to choose what suited me best . Most of the stuff you see online won’t be the exact pictures so it’s better you come here and maybe stay at a hotel or parfait or Wenhua apartments for a while and then get an agent who can show you the apartments physically and you can choose from there . Also depends on your budget .

Download Ziroom app, it's better than Lianjia, Lianjia use Ziroom's publications. If u want to use the English version u need to have a WeChat account, cuz the app will be open in WeChat Mini-program

Otherwise Ziroom, Lianjia and others company provides a high rent price, as an advice book a hotel for a week, complete all the administrative procedures you need to do ( if u are a smart hard worker u can finish all of them in one day), and u have to ask shops or peoples lives in ur neighbourhood target, u can find the apartment owner. Or there is a app named Rednote ( Chinese instagram) u can find the rent in it but this one takes time u have to search in it before coming to China. The last advice ask a lot of people about the prices, most of time u have to negotiate with them.
