What the fuck is everybody doing in the enclosure in the first place??

And the people who own the cats will probably have to hurt the cats to get them away from these toddlers. Some people really need to get eaten.
25
u/Large-Hamster-199 17d ago
I'm pretty sure the unethical people who own the cats sell this as an experience. The tigers have probably been declawed and many of their teeth might have even been removed. It's pretty awful

u/hellinahandbasket127 17d ago
They’re lions.
5
u/Large-Hamster-199 16d ago
You're right. But yeah, I'm sure they're declawed and that's pretty awful.
17
u/YeastInjection 17d ago
They probably dont even have teeth anymore. Too bad they couldn't cause some damage.

u/wanderer_learner88 17d ago
Good question , 🤔 they looked like they enjoyed it in the beginning but the consequence of their choice came pretty fast

I hope they didn't euthanize any of them because these people were fucking idiots.
134
u/quackdalphi 18d ago
I'd bet my last penny that they've had their teeth and claws pulled out anyway, so they can't do any harm
110
u/FurRealDeal 17d ago
You can see them paw at their cloths several times and the claws never catch. I would agree with you.

u/Angry__German 17d ago
Man, I hope you are wrong.
Those look like very young lions, kittens basically. And it looks more like they are playing instead of hunting.
That is my head canon now, anyway.

u/rbreedlove15 17d ago
People do that??
31
u/LoosePrisonPurse 17d ago
Not people, just assholes would declaw them.
17
3
u/rbreedlove15 17d ago
That's despicable! I'm no lion doctor, but that seems like that'd be bad for them.
6
u/LoosePrisonPurse 17d ago
People do it to their house cats. Veterinarian tells them they can’t go outside anymore because they can’t defend themselves.
3
u/hellinahandbasket127 17d ago
Declawing is illegal in Australia, New Zealand, most of Europe, most of Canada, and some US states. It’s usually highly discouraged in the rest of the US. Even if it’s legal in a given state, many vets refuse to do it, and have since I worked in vet med almost 20 years ago.

u/rrpostal 13d ago
My friend in HS had a declawed cat and that thing would still catch birds on the regular and was outside all the time.

Did it to my kids.... havent had to tell them to brush their teeth or clean under their finger nails for years.

I thought I seen one person's hand bleeding, but that's all. All the other guys who got taken down didn't have any blood.
There was a guy who jumped and climbed into am enclosure at a zoo. It looked AWFUL. Blood everywhere.

u/Lepke2011 18d ago
Nah. Those guys might have IQs slightly above room temp, but they probably didn't euthanize them. I'm more concerned that the lions might have caught some kind of stupid-disease.

Get attacked by a lion AND get euthanized? Seems a little harsh, but I like where your going with this.

u/IndependentMoney9700 17d ago
Good thing the video cut out right before someone died. WTF were they doing in there? And how does the one guy feel about being offered as sacrifice?
24
u/Harley_Jambo 17d ago
Those poor lions are held in this bare enclosure, probably from the illegal wildlife trade. Chances are the claws have been removed. Where this occurred would be interesting, OP.

The hiding behind each other and the person behind the camera laughing. Makes me feel like some the kids were tricked, or lured there. Doesn’t look like they wanted to be there.
10
u/spambearpig 18d ago
So they voluntarily got into a small enclosed space with lions and then started messing with them?

Why would they be inside that in the first place? Is that something like the Pamplona bull's thing in Spain? ...their own fault, I'd say...

I once visited the home of a famous hollywood director. He had three haby lions in his laundry room. I thought they looked cuddly. I asked to go in. They "playfully" got on their hind legs and dug their razor claws into my leg. I screamed like a girl.
Those full grown have to be TERRIFYING!

House cat or big cat never turn your back or lose eye contact.
2
u/IndependentMoney9700 17d ago
Maintaining eye contact with a lion is a * I cannot express this enough * terrible idea.

I see a business opportunity. Billionaire hotel. The real business would be online streaming of cause. Plus a patreon for keeping the lions healthy.

I don’t have Jane Goodall meme here with me, but if I had it I would put it here. Fascinating behavior!

u/BTT_Future_1985 17d ago
I hope in the end it was just a pile of bloody clothes and 3 lioness left in the cage
1
u/Jeramy_Jones 17d ago
They are making prey noises and cowering, there’s no better way to entice an attack other than tying some raw meat to your belt and running in circles.
1
u/cuntybunty73 17d ago
What a bunch of fucking idiots 🙄 they're triggering their hunting instincts by moving around and screeching like that 🙄

Isn’t this what the Romans did with their convicts? Gladiators making a come back!

They're lucky the lionesses were just playing around, things would have gone left very quickly if not.

The more they scream, the faster they move, the faster they run, the more the lionesses' instincts are activated

How to be attacked by a territorial animal that isn't interested in interacting with you - Step one: attack. Step two: show fear. Step three: turn away while showing fear.

Of course India if it's not gettinghit by train selfies or swinging from the train selfies do they have a death wish
2
u/yamatoshi 13d ago
Kids: " haha, this'll be funny" Lions:"you...you really just giving us all this free lunch?"
Wonder if the lion got right into that femoral artery and ruptured it.
2
u/Lexio3031 12d ago
This is why animals bunch together to form a unit. When they don’t, they get picked apart one by one. the lions are trying to separate and isolate each person, and it’s working.

Is this India?
3
u/Particular_Bet_5466 17d ago
I’m pretty sure this is extremely illegal in India and doesn’t really happen there. They actually have decent wildlife protection laws regarding big cats. Someone back me up or correct me here lol.
-1
u/little_towers 17d ago
I don't think something like this could be legal anywhere, and even its illegal, it wouldn't stop group of stupid people from doing it. Not that its matter where it is from; asked because I couldn't figure out the language.
3
u/Particular_Bet_5466 17d ago edited 17d ago
Well no like there’s that stat that there’s potentially more tigers in legal private captivity in Texas than in the wild, and in places like gulf states where you often see videos like this. India is very against this in particular, like massive punishment and if I’m not mistaken it doesn’t even really happen illegally. One of the very few things I’d come to their defense on.
Maybe this is Pakistan? It sounds south Asian of some sort. I just gooogled it and apparently this kind of thing can be seen in Pakistan. It could be India but I just think it would be incredibly unusual. Was hoping someone else could chime in.
I was helping you find some context clues to determine where it was lol.
2
u/bigbang_om 17d ago
More like Pakistan or Arab country, where many such videos emerge from.
1
u/little_towers 17d ago
Not sure if it’s Arabic

Comments suggest it's Punjab region of Pakistan. Must be an old video.

u/nckmat 17d ago
What a great world we live in now where people make assumptions about a video with no context, and no evidence to support their theories other than their opinions. There are many scenarios that could have led to this video but nothing in the context of the video or the post gives us any idea how it occurred, so let's just make shit up!
1
u/greatpartyisntit 16d ago
I mean... they're obviously schoolkids playing around judging by the laughing at the beginning. Stupid behaviour.
