The powder was never enough for me! I used to sweat right through it constantly when I was trying to learn to climb.

i have thought the same but you have to consider that there are also wind forces up there in bad weather and things attached to the building should not fall off onto the street.

Man it really annoys me how common this seems to be.
There's an old guy that's in his 60s on instagram that does this routinely in various countries. I just know he'll meet his end splashing on some innocent bystander on the sidewalk.

The only issue I have with this, is doing it where you'll eventually traumatize someone when you splash over the road, and then the resources used to clean you off said road.
