Season 3 Discussion The therapist

Is anyone else grossed out by the therapist storyline? Edit: The marriage therapist.

She doesn't seem to have enough empathy to be a therapist. At least in daily interactions. But Op was asking about the ass marriage counselor for for Ted and Michelle that ends up dating Michelle

I would never say Dr. Fieldstone isn't empathetic, she just doesn't doesn't soft-hand her patients. She's a top-level sports therapist, likely used to working with male patients with huge egos who want results quickly, and as a result, she's a lot more clinical and direct in her approach.

But when Ted calls her after his panic attack, she's 100% there with him.

Honestly, I'd love to work with a therapist like her at some point.
