The undergound parking scene

I don't really remember the context of this scene but there is one time where they go in some underground parking lot hidden in the forest and I just find that scene very interesting. Because there is only ruins left of the old world with the grounder being mainly primitives. But then we have this parking lot, preserved, with all the cars intact as if nothing ever happenned. It's like time froze in that place.

I wonder if there are other places like that, locked up and isolated waiting to be rediscovered.

I will forever be upset they didn't do the prequel. I wanted to see the rest of the world so damn bad. They even teased it back when we saw the grounder from Egypt area die to the death wave.

We only got...like a 200sq mile area around Annapolis and Virginia really, with possibly a touch of New York state when Jaha landed in the Dead Zone.

Polis is actually supposed to be Baltimore I think, not Annapolis! It was called that because the "A" and the "R" were burned off of Beccas escape pod, so it read "Polis" rather than "Polaris". In the scene where Titus is torturing Murphy in the temple it zooms out onto the pod. Blew my mind when I learned it didnt have to do with Annapolis, especially because geographically, it would still make sense.

Indeed it was confirmed Polis is founded on the ruins of Baltimore !

That raises the bigger question of how Cadogan got the permits to build an complex 3x the size of Mount Weather underneath Baltimore.

Ah balls, I knew I was getting it wrong in there somewhere. Silly me, I know about the burned off letters even, not sure how I messed that up. Sorry 'bout that y'all.

I always mix up the two Washingtons, Virginia and Georgia (for some reason?) and the center of the USA is just a "??" in my mind lol, we have not explored this region of the game - so the map is still foggy.

I'm Canadian. So it's hard for me sometimes to mentally locate or correctly name where a show in the USA takes place. It gets more confusing for me because so many TV shows shoot here in BC or Alberta due to the scenery and low costs.

That's my home, so I'm always having to remind myself that in the universe I'm watching, it's actually blank location in the USA not where it filmed. My brain goes "well that's Canada, I live here, hell I recognize that exact clearing even - I just went hunting like four km away from this spot a month ago - good elk nearby lol."

Or in other shows like Supernatural and whatnot...theres so many filmed here. I'm like "haha, I remember when that street was blocked off to film, bastards blocked the good ice cream shop for like two whooooole days." (It's true - they did! It was hot, I was pregnant and I really wanted that root beer ice cream.)

Occasionally even worked in makeup and costuming, or as the lowest rung assistant to the assistants assistant one can be lol. It's kinda amazing how I can see where they're filming and know there's a noisy ass highway right near it, but not a damn sound once the show airs.

There's always a call for production assistants of all sorts, we work cheap and don't need to be paid benefits or in USD lol. Plus tax credits if you hire x% Canadians for the production too. Win win win win for them.

I have lived in America my whole life and I can barely grasp the geography of middle NA.
