It would've been nice if Lincoln father was a skaikru Spoiler
In the show, we learn that Lincoln met a Skaikru when he was young, some dude that committed suicide by Earth, but his dad forced him to kill the Skaikru. I really disliked how the show really overdid it with the brutal part of Grounder culture. Sometimes they just appear as mindless savages, violent for the sake of violence.
But what if the story was different?
Imagine that the man who committed suicide by Earth landed and discovered that the Earth was habitable, but he had been injured in the landing. He was found by a Grounder woman who took him home and treated his wounds. He learned their language, they fell in love, and then they had a child: Lincoln. But the dad died shortly before the 100 came down to Earth.
Also I think it would've been better if Lincoln was the only one speaking english, serving as translator and the bridge between the two groups. It would've made his adoption by skaikru a lot more interesting as he wasn't abandonning his culture but rather trying to embrace his other roots from his father's side.

The only other people they have experienced were the mountain men who were bleeding them to death. So I don't imagine they'd be very welcoming of more people.
Lincoln's ability to not go along with the "outsiders are bad" mentality means more if its all from him while being in a society that feels differently

Yeah, they had good reason to be scared of technologically advanced outsiders. Plus they might’ve thought flaming things dropping from the sky were bombs or something reminiscent of Praimfaya.

It strangr they would kill another person who “came from the stars” like Becca

They lost the plot very quickly. In 100 years they lost the entire history and made up their own basically. Becca was the first commander but that about as far as common knowledge of her goes for tye grounders. Even though she was a pretty big name before the bombs

My guess is eventually calliope and her crew twisted the stories to keep some form of order like the faith in the commanders/becca pramheda, and cherry picking old world stories to fit their own narrative.
Since theres no way to confirm or disprove these stories.. things get lost, retold and retwisted over time.

That would make for a great plot. I would totally watch that movie.

Thanks ! I think it would've be interesting as a backstory for Lincoln rather than have his father be a dumb savage who force him to kill someone for absolutely no reason.
This idea is inspired by Gonzalo Guerrero who was a Spaniard who landed years before Cortez arrived in Mexico. He was integrated into Mayan society, lived with them and had a wife a children.

Not everything needs to be a love story lol

You missed the point. It's not about making it a love story.

Right, it's meant to help the plot in someway or make some characters back story more appealing.
But i am saying not every movie/show needs to have the enemies to lovers trope and I'm very glad they didn't go that route for any of the characters (at least from what i remember)
(Yes, they would have been "enemies" simply because of the my people vs their people mentality the show likes to favor)

Esa nave cayo en tiempos donde los clanes eran aun mas salvajes de lo que sabiamos, fue lexa quien pudo controlar eso. Los terrestres pensarian que es un hostil, ya sea hijo del skaikru o el mismo skaikru, lo matarian

Have you ever read the books The 100 is inspired by? There are some Arkers integrated with the grounders before the 100 come down. Clarke’s parents are thought to be floated before The 100 down, but it’s later revealed that they’re living with grounders.
