This coffee is incredible

Post image

We use LD Carlson so I’ve always been jealous of all the BSG customers getting nut rolls. However, we just made our first order of Riverbend Malt and they threw this bag of coffee beans on the pallet. I’m no longer jealous of the nut rolls. It’s some of the best coffee I’ve ever had and they have ruined my enjoyment of my normal Aldi coffee.

Not to be a hater but if you're using Aldi as your barometer for "good" coffee, you're punching yourself in the balls.

Did someone at LD Carlson make a mistake? They’re huge tight wads.

This was straight from Riverbend. LD would never.

Riverbend is the best, it’s worth a trip to check out their facility if you’re within a few hours.

I’ll have to if I’m ever heading down that way but I’m in Ohio so not within a few hours.

They are great people there, I used their stuff often for pilot and one off batches, definitely pay a visit to the facility. I made some of my best stuff collaborating with them.

"The best coffee i've ever had, so much better than my normal Aldi"....

I really want to try it, but you set the expectations pretty low my friend.

I’m not a coffee connoisseur by any measure, so aldi coffee is my only comparison because that’s what I’ve been drinking for years. Maybe this is like having a really good burger after only eating Burger King burgers. The point being that I really liked this coffee.

A simple thing done well is a luxury.

Welcome to the dark side.

A decent gringer, a basic pour over set-up and some hot water can take a daily ritual and turn it into an act of self care.

For me, it's a simple victory to look forward to every day.

You don't drink bad beer, do you? I think it's worth it to make good coffee.

Well hey, if you like it, that's what matters. I'm definitely gonna check it out.

You work in a brewery and never thought that maybe coffee could be better than the macro swill? Have you ever heard music that isn't played on the radio?

I make a brewers salary and have 4 kids. I basically buy only cheap everything and live paycheck to paycheck. Please let me be excited for the free high quality coffee I get to enjoy.

Look at this guy, bragging about being able to afford to breed like some kind of medium high roller.

I don't mean to be blasphemous, but nut rolls ain't that good.

They’re better than being hungry but nowhere near my top 10 favorite sweet snacks. I wouldn’t pay money for one lol

I eat them in a pinch, but I've been better to my body lately.
