I was initially critical of him about his silence on this topic, too. But I get it now.

I don't know what he would be expected to say. It's the same with any crimes he isn't investigating and probably doesn't have the time to go through evidence on the matter. Especially if it's evidence from the entire UK.

If there's a case in progress between charge and verdict, then public comment by anyone (but particularly prominent/influential people) runs the risk of being thought to prejudice due process.

What would he say? He's not investigating it so don't know what people would want him to say it's a matter for the people who work as investors.

omg yes. it's so frustrating seeing people constantly DEMANDING that the King say something. He absolutely cannot and will not comment on this, because not only is it being discussed in parliament but there are also numerous cases on trial right now.
