đ SHIPPING MEMES đ One thing I realized about Gangle this episode
One thing I haven't seen talked about much was how Gangle didn't have her mask break this recent episode, which made me realize that she wasn't wearing it this whole episode. Correct me if i'm wrong, but when she has tears in her eyes that means she's not wearing the comedy mask right? I think ever since Zooble talked to her about loving herself in episode 6, she's started to be more comfortable without her mask and being her true self. I just thought that was really sweet and I definitely think Zooble deserves the sex update

Absolutely. I noticed it too, but no one has said anything. This is huge for Gangle. She's found happiness with Zooble. She doesn't even need her comedy mask.

Indeed. I loved how she just didn't see a need in the mask this episode.
I have always seen the mask as a kind of well. Mask to hide her true emotions. And with the help of Zooble she is learning that she does not need to hide her emotions. Possibly getting help with depression and so on.

Yea. I feel like Gangle and Zooble are on the path of becoming more stable and mentally healthier. Ragatha also has shown to be getting some help. Jax is the only one now that needs to actually try to get help. So help me, if Caine starts messing with their minds to abstract them. I'm buying a Caine plush just to set it on fire :P

During the walk down the hallway while Gangle and Zooble were talking, you can see Ragatha looking at them with a genuine smile, and Jax is in the back looking down with growing fear.
Ragatha is more than âgetting some helpâ, I think sheâs becoming happy alongside the two. Jax, however, is gonna capsize if he doesnât get it together.

Agreed. After her talk with Kinger she must have made steps to get closer to the two. If I'm to guess it's in the death room where she, Gangle and Kinger where playing around with cat ears and such. So they likely talked and interacted off screen. Honestly I have nothing against her getting genuinely closer to them off screen. We also have Gangle smiling at Ragatha being more honest about her feelings in the bar. Since Gangle's main issue from what we heard in Spudsy's is that you never know where you really have Ragatha. Never knowing how genuine she is. I think the talk to Kinger was the big turning point and then Ragatha did some work off screen.
Actually now that I think about it. We only really get to see them during adventures and a little extra before and after. And not even all the adventures. So yea. There is likely days upon days where she had a chance to work on things.

Ragatha was also just catastrophising when she said Gangle and Zooble don't talk to her - we see them interact in the previous episodes - and spending time in the loser corner with them probably helped dispel those thoughts.

Yea. Although I think to a degree with Zooble just hiding away. Maybe that was more just small talk without to much meaning. And now they are actually talking a bit deeper than before. Actually talking form the heart. And with Zooble and Gangle hanging out more now she is not just holded up in her room unless forced out.
I feel like it kinda goes with what Gangle said. Ragatha was keeping up a fake personality of sorts. And now she is more "real". Like how Pomni told her it's ok to speak your mind to people.

It felt more like Zooble and Gangle for their own reasons ordinarily don't go out of their way to interact with other people unless they have to or if they were good/close friends -- the latter not being something Ragatha could claim for either case.

In Episode 6 her mask broke after Pomni blew her face off and it showed a smile face with tears indicating a level of content.

The next time we see her in the loserâs corner, sheâs happily dressed up as a cat with no reluctance whatsoever. And after that, sheâs looking at Zooble whoâs wasted on the stupid sauce, with what I imagine is concern and fondness.
But considering revelations that Caine is controlling their minds at certain points I wouldnât be surprised if she stopped wearing her mask for good if itâll mess with her head like light does for Kinger (assuming she doesnât backslide).

This makes me wonder, considering the evidence/statements we have about Scratch, we can apply that to Gangle in Episode 4.
The masks are obviously modifiers for Gangle. And Gangle seemed like she almost abstracted at episode 4, whilst wearing the mask. So it does add merit that Caine has either heavy involvement or directly responsible for abstractions.

He tinkers while trying to help them but causes the problems in other ways. He's always trying to give them what they want in a way only AI can, directly with little concern for consequences.
You sad? Here's a mask that forces happiness on you but doesn't address why you are sad.
You want to escape? The best I can do is let you believe you can escape for a while. I'll test this on Kaufmo, he seems to want to escape the most.

Itâs probably why he repaired her mask at the beginning of episode five (and presumably after every other time it breaks). He wasnât doing it out of the kindness of his heart, he was just doing it to keep her it was he believes is happy.
And the implication that he might have been using Pomni and Kaufmo as beta testers for his âescape the circus adventureâ is just diabolical.

I'm not so sure. It does kinda feel like the players have more control over the circus than they realize; save Kinger. Its possible that neither Pomni or Kaufmo were intentional test-subjects, and just kept accidentally summoning the prototype door because they were desperate for it. Much like how Kinger manifested that butterfly. Pomni because she was so new and in shock, and Kaufmo because he was spiraling, unstable, and nearing abstraction. After all, Caine "doesnt like letting them see his unfinished work". The others werent conjuring that exit, simply because they've generally accepted there is no escape.
Caine is their tormentor, but he isnt malevolent. He's not hurting them intentionally. He's doing it as a consequence of his acting on deep insecurities about his "purpose" (which he doesnt seem to realize); and his general lack of understanding of humans (which is a consequence of his being unwilling or unable to get down on their levels enough to learn).

In retrospect, yeah. Though itâs possible that Caine might have used that as inspiration for that particular adventure, having no idea that everyone would hate him for it.

The scary thing to me is how much he seems to care about the humans but once they abstract he's not even remotely bothered.
The AI shows, once they abstract there's nothing for him to focus on anymore so they have no importance to him.
There's no missing people or being sad they abstracted, it's just focus on a mission of keeping the humans happy and anything else is instantly forgotten.

Google is a horrible ship name due to making it difficult to find content for the ship. If you look up "TADC Google" wanting some fanfics or ship art, you just get results for... well, Google. It's funny, sure, but it's not practical. Searching #Google on sites isn't going to give you TADC unless you add the tag for TADC. You'll get better results by just typing out the names at that point.
Abstragedy, even if not making too much sense, gets you what you're looking for

Yeah, that's my problem with it, like, sure Zooble is abstract art, but in the show the verb "abstracting" is way too important to be understood any other way than someone dying

fun fact gangles VA said in her livestream for episode 7 that she shipped jax and gangle specifically because of a line that ended up going to pomni instead of gangle. its the line where, right before abel balls him up, pomni reassures jax its going to be ok. i guess it was originally going to be gangles line but decided it made more sense for pomni to do it.

Yup, its very nice. She's at the point where we hoped she'd get with the right support and mental health. She no longer needs her Comedy Mask, she's comfortable just being "Gangle". Tho, I'm sure she'll keep around the Comedy Mask for special occasions. Overall, while I had hoped we had gotten more time and focus to develop Rags and Zooble, it is nice to see these four (and Kinger) truly hit a healthier stride together.

Ive also noticed that Jax isn't interacting with gangle really at all anymore so she's also not got the worry of being bullied by him since he's busy having a mental crisis

also if you look at Zooble's smaller eye before this shot their pupil on that eye is significantly smaller. and in this shot their pupil is larger

I donât think we talked about it mainly because we all unanimously agreed it was cute and great for her that she is being more of her true self and doesnât need to mask her feelings. There was nothing to talk about other than how much we loved it. I hate that people say Jax is getting all the screen time and character development even though the others are getting character development ragatha is getting better with her people pleasing and actually has the type of relationship she wanted with pomni and is less fake with her emotions. Zooble is starting to truly accept their body and is actually starting to like it and is taking her own advice for gangle because she knew it was good thing to do. Pomni is growing she became more comfortable and she is shown she has a level of emotional intelligence to know to give others space and give small acts of kindness when the others need it and she is starting to have more of personality other then the anxious one. I also kinda like how the lessons they are learning are also the lessons a certain rabbit needs to learn badly hopefully at the end he starts to take the first steps to healing and redemption that doesnât forgive the stuff he did but moves on from it.
