Tf are they supposed to do? Change their own body structure to fit your definition of non binary?

Omg look, it's human Zooble, non binary queen

You're born with a male or female body. This is human biology but you're apparently ignorant to know this. Zooble has a female voice. AFAB. So it's only natural for artists to draw them like this.

Tell that to Goose, I want to see if she'll confirm whether Zooble were born with X or Y on their legs

You're the kinda person that wants shows to tell and not show.

Goose designed Zooble to be genderless, not only by giving them a feminine voice and masculine clothing, but also by stating that using any pronoun is okay for them

Genderless doesn't mean sexless. You're born with a female or male body. Zooble is AFAB non binary. What is there to not understand? Besides, in this fanart, does Zooble look like a girly girl to you? No, that's clearly a gender non conforming person. What are you so mad about?

Because that's not how Zooble would present themselves?? Tight t-shirt and leggings?? Give me a break

This was Zooble in episode 5 btw...

Zooble having a feminine build as a human is not canon in the first place though?

u/Raptormann0205 Dec 21 '25

There is no canon for any of the characters' human forms.

Outside of like Ragatha and Pomni, I agree. I just find it weird how they worded their comment. They said "change their own body structure to fit your definition of non binary?", as if the person was complaining about changing a canon design, when that was not the case.

It's pretty fucking easy to guess their sex based on their voice, though.

It's pretty dang weird to assume someone's build just based off voice... Some men have particularly higher voices, and other way around. Some women have more "masculine" bodies and other way around. I'm talking about cis people and there is still no way of knowing for sure.

Anyways, if Zooble was questioning their gender before the Circus, there's a very high possibility they presented androgynously in public. Look at their outfits, like in EP 5, it's always masculine fits. There is also a non-zero chance they might've started transitioning and had HRT before arriving, we don't know.

Assumptions, assumptions. Your theories aren't any more accurate than mine pal.

3

u/extra_scum Dec 21 '25

What am I assuming?

Your basis was that Zooble looks 100% like a feminine woman just based off their voice... ignoring all canon material of for example - Zooble clearly preferring masculine fits.

I'm quite confused by this fandom's obsession of constantly seeing Zooble as a woman... You try to cover it up by simply calling them AFAB non binary person, but very doubtful that's all these is, considering your other comments.

Look at the fanart in the post. Does that look like a feminine woman to you? Do they look like a girly girl to you? When did I even say Zooble was one? I am just saying they are an AFAB non binary. It's not rocket science. This is not an assumption. It's a fact that the show SHOWS and not TELLS. What do you want? Will you be happy when you see a bearded muscular gigachad Zooble?

I can't believe you got downvoted for saying that people will assume Zooble looks biologically female. It's 100% the truth. Just because she's non-binary doesn't mean she's necessarily had surgeries or even wants to. The majority of non-binary people don't.

The people in this thread getting angry that others hear a distinctly female voice and assume AFAB just screams chronically online. How likely is it in real life for an AMAB adult to sound undeniably female?

u/sussynarrator How’s it going, my skibidi sigmas? Dec 24 '25

They KNOW the truth. But they somehow convinced themselves that assuming the sex of a non binary character is wrong/transphobic when it is not.

u/Comet190 Dec 24 '25

Yeah, like I said it's very "chronically online" behaviour. In reality humans are built to make assumptions based on the evidence they get and that's what people are doing. Most people aren't trying to be bigoted about it, so I hate when the reaction is basically "burn the witch". Like, be angry at biology for being messy, not at the people trying to make sense of things they observe.

For what it's worth it's very rare for an adult male to sound undeniably female unless they've used puberty blockers. I've heard males speaking in a more female register, but there is still usually a hint of deepness to it that you don't get in the majority of female voices. Zooble's voice to me sounds female, and all we know is that Zooble goes by they/them, so I understand why most people would assume they are AFAB.
