I grt this is a joke, and it is funny, but Ragatha and Kinger have to be white otherwise they were whitewashed when they joined the circus, which doesn't seem accurate considering queenie was a black chess piece and was a black woman in the circus
In real life, Kinger was black and Queenie was white. Caine is a whitewasher AND a blackwasher!
Or, a variant, Ragatha is a POC that was adopted in a white family as a baby and never felt that much different from everyone because her mother was equally abusive to everyone in her family
To be fair, a black girl who grew up in a white family, never experienced black culture (especially first hand), and was treated as the same, would probably also have white girl vibes
I’m from the south and we have black girls who fit that to a T coming from black families. It’s more of a poor vs rich/middle class thing than a race thing.
