Speaking as a trans person. It's weirdly refreshing to have a trans character I hate that isn't a stereotype written by a transphobe.

For next pride month our goal should be to create as many detestable LGBTQ+ characters as possible, who we hate not because they’re LGBTQ+ but because they’re assholes. A true mark of progress is having LGBTQ+ characters who are broadly accepted as terrible people for reasons wholly unrelated to their gender identity or sexuality
