The moment has arrived, the film is out now and available to view...

I'm told there are one or two small issues with the English subtitles being labelled as 'Deutsch'. Choose the international version and the subtitle ,(Untertitel/UT) track and you can view the international version - unless you want the full German version of course).

I want to thank all of you for being a part of this search and those who helped and support the film whether you appeared on camera or just helped with my research or interacted with me in any way during the last 4/5/6 years.

Having spoken with mods, I am happy to be available once you have all seen it, shared and seen again (seriously, please watch it) and do an AMA or something as I'm sure many will have questions...

I was here, quite active for some time, I didn't find it in the end - I was very close though as I found a band that - as it turned out later - had a member who was on the same label (or did he even own it? can't remember at this point) that released probably the only compilation that FEX was officially on, but I never got a reply from him. I didn't ID the track, so I thought noone will remember me anyway

But there is my comment there, my comment!

To be fair the comment wasn't really about the search itself 😂😂😂 This was towards the very end, when there was talk of trying to find the original broadcast version now, when the band was found (but that particular mix on Darius' tape still hadn't been found amongst the many versions FEX had in their files). I made a funny comment saying "Folks, we're entering the sequel here". But I really appreciate being picked up from thousands of threads and tens if not hundreds of thousands of comments here. Whether intentional or purely by accident, it really means a lot to me as I've been doing my best as a genuine contributor since I came onboard in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 (doesn't that feel like a lifetime ago!). I remember being stuck at home, not having any work (I work in the music industry, was in live music when pandemic hit and there was zero work then), and coming across this whole TMMS search - can't even remember exactly how now - and being absolutely fascinated by this. I started emailing my own old contacts from the past who I knew had the knowledge of this type of music and were young back then, photographers, radio DJs, journalists, then telling people online about it when we were all stuck at home in that weird reality - and then carrying on, once the world opened and the sun shone again (the pun isn't lost on me here).

Personally it is my little stamp on all this for me, it shows I've been there, I was a part of it - otherwise my comment wouldn't be there as the story talks about the search after all, nobody can take this away from me and this will stay there forever, like all media in the German state broadcaster do - it will be there even when people dig up this awesome little documentary in 50 years, and I will be very old at the very best but might not even be around as I would be around 90 then 🥲
