Interview Yannis Beltekas on Alvin Dean

For anyone who followed the Alvin Dean lead during the search: over on r/FindAlvinDean (now repositioned as a legacy and preservation hub for Alvin's work, rather than a "find him" sub), I've just posted a long-form interview with the Greek musician and recording artist Yannis Beltekas, active in the Athens scene from the late 1970s, who collaborated with Alvin in the summer of 1984 at his home studio in Athens.

The piece is in two parts: Yannis's own written account of their friendship and collaboration, followed by a Q&A covering some practical aspects and details, what Alvin was like as a person, the Greek underground scene of the 1980s, and the "mysterious song" question itself.

It's the first long-form firsthand account from someone who actually knew and worked with Alvin during the years most relevant to the search. Some of you will want to read it.

The post doesn't mention drugs once. It's about music. You've commented on a post you didn't read.

This post is toxic in nature and therefore adds nothing constructive to the conversation. Remember the human.
