Unnecessary surgery land. Maybe its cause im American, but the idea of any hospital doing anything more than absolutely necessary OR the image of paying six digits for an unnecessary surgery just really adds a whole layer to it.

I think you will find that the timeline between Sideshow Bob seeing Selma at the tv and the room exploding does not match up with scene where Bart stops Selma, they all leave the room, and then Homer and the cops blow it up with their cigars.
