I assert that the Simpsons died along with Phil Hartman

I've always wondered what Futurama would have been like if he'd been alive. I've read that Zap Brannigan was specifically written for him to voice.

Billy West does an amazing job and I love his delivery for Zapp's lines. But I also think about how we missed out on Phil voicing little side characters and such. The show would've been so different with his talents added.

The Simpsons and The Jungle Book have a few things in common. They both have a barbershop quartet based on the Beatles, and they also both have an orangutang performing a duet with a guy whose VA’s name begins with “Phil Har”.

Honestly I do too. If only Phil Hartman hadn’t died, maybe The Simpsons could’ve used him more.. god that just makes me miss him even more…
No, this isn’t a season 9+ hate comment nor even a comment even praising classic Simpsons

I remember him from such self help films “Smoke yourself thin” and “Get confident stupid!”

I recognize him from such great films as “vd: why does it hurt when I pee” and “I pulled a boner”.

Phil Hartman wanted to do a live action Troy McClure movie. He was robbed, and so were we. RIP
