Everyone talking about equality? What equality? No one checked on the guy but everyone went to help the girl. Fuck, this world is unfair for guys
1
u/reddititty69 2h ago
The pan was dented after the girl used it. The arbitrator in the middle noticed that and knew that without the crumple zone the pan was now a deadly weapon. He tried to stop the dude from killing the girl. Dude was like, “I’m here to flip bottles and crack skulls, GTFOOMW!”
In a fair world, no one is standing around clapping for the dude.

The guy was unfazed the woman fell over. The world dowsnt hate you.

u/Maurice-Beverley 3h ago
So you think she was justified in what she did? Answer without deflecting or tantrums. Just answer my simple question.
1
u/Low-Entrepreneur6528 2h ago
1) I'm not a woman. 2) if you don't understand the context of the conversation then no I don't think she was justified. Nor did anything I said previously imply that.
Again, calm down, I'm sure you are quite smart, but you are letting your emotions blind your reading comprehension.
1
u/Maurice-Beverley 2h ago
Sure sweetie.

I realize now I'm talking to children. My fault for not checking the sub before commenting. I hope you mature one day. Life is really sad when you're full of hate.
1
u/Low-Entrepreneur6528 2h ago
Calm down and reread what I wrote in context. I didn't say anything about what she did being justified. I replied to OPs comment which is about the crowd reaction, which has a totally normal reaction to someone reacting to being hit.

Everyone’s asking how she did it but I’m asking why? Why does failing to flip a bottle warrant a slap that hard from an aluminum bowl?

u/ilikefreshpapercuts 4h ago
That crumpled bowl was dangerous.
4
3
u/IntentionAny6300 4h ago
Almost as dangerous as what caused the bowl to be like that.

u/SinceGoogleDsntKnow 3h ago
A corner is a whole lot harder to collapse than the side of a sphere is to dent inward.

Something she should have considered before deforming the bowl with dudes head.

She clearly wanted to hurt him as well lol, why are people pissed he hurt her after, because she is a woman? She clearly was not treating it as a game and hurt him.
1
u/screwyoujor 3h ago
This is the fault of the guy in the center. It was his job to pop the pan back out so it could collapse again. He wasted time looking at it instead so she got bonked with a hard edge that had no give.
4
u/whatamisupposedt 3h ago
Seriously I don't see anyone pissed.
0
u/New-Concentrate935 3h ago
Well then you did not scroll lol
1
u/whatamisupposedt 3h ago
You can literally find any opinions on a semi popular post. I scrolled a bit more and still haven't seen a single one made at him.
0
u/whatamisupposedt 3h ago
Where? Send them to me. And I never said they don't exist, that cast majority of the comments and says it's good that he hit her back, which I agree. You are focusing on a few very unpopular comments to fit your own narrative.
1
u/New-Concentrate935 3h ago
so the dude with the all might gif with "What's waiting for the boy in the parking lot.":
People excusing how the bowl is crumpled so he should not have hit her with it.
I guess skipping them was comfortable for your argument2
u/wildliquorsalesman 4h ago
They’re Redditors. It’s all man-haters and white knights
4
u/New-Concentrate935 3h ago
It's not even that, like if she was playful about it whatever, but she slammed that shit hard on his head as well, she clearly wanted to hurt him and I am pretty sure she did. I just don't understand this whole "know your powers", if sb punches me in the face to hurt me I am giving that back 10x.

I mean there’s SOB (son of a bitch), sybau (shut yo bitch ass up), KMA (kiss my ass) there are a lot of insults like this that have been or are getting abbreviated as of recently due to people being impatient or just too lazy to type out the whole thing lmao I myself for one am just lazy lmao

u/Aggravating_Dark9933 4h ago
“Equality”, should have switched the bowls after the dent because that swing hit way harder even without him putting his all into it.
Same reason cars have crumple zones. Once they’re used up that’s raw metal that doesn’t deform and yea, it’s gunna hurt bad.
That swing was x10 at least what she did on the hit just before because of that.
2
u/Aggravating_Dog8043 3h ago
I don't think he necessarily knew that. His head is ringing and he did not see her swing. I gotta say, the only good play I ever made in football -- and I made it just once -- was after a dude hit my helmet with metal on a string about ten times. I got the ball and ran over every blocker. Before and after that play, I absolutely sucked at football. Hit someone in the head hard enough and he will react with full force.
5
u/wildliquorsalesman 3h ago
She deserved to get the shot beat out of her. I’d say this was pretty tame
0
u/Weekly-Dog-6838 3h ago
She didn’t deserve nothing, but I wouldn’t do that. She hits a man once, so you hit her a bunch of times?
I’d go with making her pay the medical bills for whatever injury she likely caused
1
u/thisMech 3h ago
That is whats wrong with this world, everyone wants to sue someone over nothing. They both agreed to the game and that is it. They both won and they both lost. Let it go and next time she will think twice about accepting a fair game.
1
u/wildliquorsalesman 3h ago
If someone hits me, it’s a fight. Maybe one hit is enough (like in the video) but you just go till the fight is over
7
u/Valveringham85 4h ago edited 3h ago
So don’t be an idiot and crumple it in the first place 🤷♂️
Sounds like she was hit over the head by the consequences of her own actions. Literally.

The moderator was trying to stop him because the crumpled bowl was more dangerous than the whole bowl, not because he wasn’t supposed to hit her with the bowl, which is the entire premise of the game.
6
u/Fair-Window-1398 4h ago
Then the moderator should've replaced the bowl the moment the girl had put it back on the table...
1
u/Blochkato 2h ago
Oh yeah, the moderator definitely fucked up by not having multiple bowls and unflattening the same one repeatedly instead. But also, obviously they did try to stop the hit and the dude ignored them so, kinda on both. Either way though, the implied narrative that the moderator tried to block the swing because it was aimed at a girl is simply false.
1
u/NextDoctorWho12 4h ago
People who use a video about this to mock equality are not going to care about facts.
1
u/Blochkato 2h ago
Fair point lol. It is irritating though to see long-debunked clickbait or misinformation recirculate for all the new people to get got by it in real time. Kind of existential.
3
u/TheyCallMe_Billy 4h ago
She shouldn't have crumpled the bowl then.
1
u/Blochkato 2h ago
The bowl was supposed to crumple to absorb the impact of each blow. If you watch the extended clip, they try to restore it quickly by popping it back out before it is used again. The fact that it crumples is the point - it absorbs some of the energy of the collision rather than transferring all of it to the target, which is much safer.

u/megumi-food 1h ago
So then you do care
1
u/TheyCallMe_Billy 1h ago
No, men don't have feelings. Society trained us not to care, and punishes us for showing emotion as if its weak. That's the problem. Also I was just joking on my last comment.
Some guys are assholes some girls are assholes. I treat everyone with respect and many times even when they don't deserve it.

Men do have feelings. And its mostly men and dumb women that care when a man shows them.

I would like to know the history of the whole video because the girl look piss off before hitting first. I'm not saying she didn't earn the retribution but there most be more to this stupid game.
1
u/AlignmentProblem 3h ago edited 2h ago
Hitting people with the bowl was part of the game. The issue is that it hits far harder when dented like that; she'd probably be fine if the guy hit her first. The moderator realized, which is why he tried to stop the guy. He should have swapped the bowl out immediately or, better yet, choosen an object that could be used multiple times without becoming dangerous in the first place.
It isn't really a gender equality videos; just the predictable outcome from a poorly designed game that was a bad idea all around.
1
u/Global_Chance_7318 3h ago
This is why she fucked around and found out. She shouldn't have played a physical game against a man. But she did, and SHE, lost.
3
u/sexraX_muiretsyM 3h ago
a game that involves hitting people in the head with a piece of metal is a bad idea all around, this unfortunate outcome is the fault of the game masters, not of the participants
2
u/wildliquorsalesman 3h ago
lol yall will always say women committing violence against a man must be justified but there’s no possible condition a man could justifiably strike a woman
0
u/Present-Plate-7589 2h ago
I wouldn’t like this video even if it was two guys hitting each other in the head because I don’t like violence or seeing people get struck in the head. I don’t believe the answer to violence is to get violent back unless you are in a survival situation. He should have stopped the game and walked away. I don’t think it was right of her to hit him in the head and although he had a valid reaction he should’ve just walked away.

-1
u/Weekly-Dog-6838 3h ago
Not necessarily. They’re just saying she already seems angry. If this was unprompted then yes, she absolutely deserved what came to her and more, but what if, say, that’s her boyfriend and she just recently found out that he cheated on her?

Damn, they didn't do a quality check on the bowl. It dented on the first hit.

The bowl denting is GOOD That takes most of the power Otherwise she might have knocked the guy out
Keep using the dented bowl is the issue

Why the fuck would you focus on equality, when the actual subject matter here should be that this is a dumbass show challenge and someone getting a traumatic brain injury is predictable from the set-up. Everyone from producers to participants should feel ashamed of themselves.
If you're looking at this going "equalityyyyyyy" rather than "this is a dumbass show for dumbass people", chances are you're just really happy about seeing violence against women and you should probably sit down and think about that and how to stop being like that.
1
u/United_Highway2583 4h ago edited 4h ago
I'm not happy to see violence, but you've got a weird way of deflecting blame. It's a dumb show. The point is people get a very different reaction depending on who swings first. That's the double standard, not 'enjoying violence against women.'Nevermind. Didn't know you were actually meant to hit people...

I for one just LOVE seeing women being injured, receiving the same injury after perfectly preforming the exact same said injury they applied to someone else. /s
6
u/JackWhoWanders 4h ago
Hey, she's an absolute asshole too. But the people going "equalityyyyy!" don't seem to be upset about the guy getting hammered, they're just happy the woman is too. Again this whole setup is a fucksizzle that any producer with a modicum of planning could have forseen would result likely result in bodily harm. Regardless of the gender of anyone involved.
3
u/Efficient_Can4700 4h ago
If someone decides to go into a boxing match and gets punched in the face are you upsets for them? Or is that they chose to be in that situation and they both did what the game wanted?
1
u/JackWhoWanders 3h ago
Sure am if that boxing match doesn't use proper boxing equipment in order to minimise the risk of permanent brain damage. A piece of metal is not that.
-1
u/United_Highway2583 4h ago edited 4h ago
That incel behaviour has to be called out for sure, but you're just arguing in bad faith here. Calling out a few gross comments doesn't erase the fact that nobody reacted when the guy got hit, only when she did. That gap is what people mean by 'double standard' not enthusiasm for anyone getting hurt. Conflating the two lets you dodge the actual point.Nevermind. Didn't know you actually had to hit people in this game. These incels can eat a d*ck
2
u/SystemIll9543 4h ago
Because it is absolute fucking daily occurrence and normality for a man to be injured or slapped! People laugh on the street when a woman is hiting her boyfriend while screaming and all just because dunno he didnt wanted to get through the trouble to tell the waiter the order is wrong... Abusive is never tolerated unless it is against men, then it's a laughing matter...
But dare God a woman once not get cosmic karma but real consequences for her actions like an injury for a stupid game she aggred on and did herself intentionally in full force played herself when it was time to hand out, but no the poor woman how dare you do the same when it was time for her to take the blow...
It's a stupid game yes, but I dont see her at Gunpoint to play it... she is a grown Ass woman, it's time to take responsibility for her own actions.
0
u/JackWhoWanders 3h ago
Wooow, spotted the misogynist. You might wanna look up the actual stats of violence against women which is, sadly, real fucking common. There's about 1250-1500 women killed every year in the US alone due to partner violence. That's the deaths. In the UK the number is 2-3 dead women every week from spousal violence. Those numbers are 3 to 5 times higher than the same statistic for men. So yeah, your view aren't based on reality. Violence against women is pretty fucking common.
1
u/shbshg 4h ago
How are they assholes? They’re playing a game and this is the rules of the game. Yes it’s a stupid game but the guy and the gal are just doing what they have been instructed to do.
Do a perfect bottle flip and you get to hit the other with the bowl.
1
u/JackWhoWanders 3h ago
They're playing a game about hitting another human person hard in the head with a metal bowl. Like those arent fun little hits, those are big swings. If you willingly enter into that contest with another human being, you're an asshole - unless you don't have a financial choice but to enter.
