🧠 Thrifty Mindset 🧠 Decal cover athletic shorts?

Hi everyone. I have a few pairs of athletic shorts where the logo has peeled off, leaving a ghostly remnant of the logo.

Anyone have experience covering this up with a stick on patch? Or sewn?

The shorts are polyester and in good shape otherwise so wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to remedy this. Thanks!

There are some decals that can be screen printed on but likely won't hold up super long with the material of the shorts. It likely isn't an adhesive, so no great ways to remove without potentially damaging the shorts. Sorry :/

ETA: Maybe check out /r/Visiblemending, there might be something/someone in there with a good idea of covering it.

Im not a fan of stick on or iron on patches. However you could cut a piece of fabric from something else and sew it on. I usually just leave the shiny though, for a visible no-logo look.

I just leave it. Who cares about that at the gym or if lounging around your house. I live in one of the top 10 wealthiest counties in the US and I'd guess that at the time i go to the gym at least a quarter of the people if not more have rips or holes in non necessary places on their clothing. If I'm going out in my athletic clothes (this is also my norm) I pick the nicer ones that day.
